The professional dancer, 39, who appeared this year with actor Greg Wise, 55, said: “Currently I have two things wrong with my knee. There’s a little bit of a tear on my meniscus and then there’s also a little cartilage flap behind my knee but they’re very minor so instead of an op I got a knee injection so that’s good news.”
Karen was supported by her boyfriend Jordan Jones as she confronted her fear of needles. “I’m terrified of injections and needles, so I’m glad that it happened quickly. I pretty much bit off Jordan’s jacket, but at least I’m not going into surgery which is good for now.”
The star plans to return to the show next year.
Beckham senior weds again
David Beckham's father Ted, 73, has married his millionaire solicitor partner Hilary Meredith, 62, in an intimate ceremony.
The football icon, 46, is said to have acted as best man for his father at the low-key nuptials which took place in London's Temple.
It's the second marriage for both the bride and groom, with Ted having divorced David's mother Sandra in 2002 after 33 years of marriage.
The ceremony was attended by the Beckham clan including David's wife Victoria and their children.
A source revealed: “It was a very small private affair with just a handful of close family and friends.”

The Good Morning Britain host, 54, has had a tough two years following her husband Derek Draper’s devastating health battles. According to reports, she is set to receive a gong to commemorate her 32-year career, including her recent documentary on her partner’s Covid-19 battle – a film which was praised by many. An insider told the Sun that she is likely to land either a CBE or MBE for her contribution to broadcasting. “Kate has bravely shared her family’s struggle with the devastating effects of Covid, helping to educate and raise awareness,” they said. “She’s spent over 30 years on the frontline of broadcasting and shown true dedication and survival in a tough industry.” Derek was taken to hospital in March 2020 after contracting Covid and was placed in a medically induced coma soon after. His body was severely ravaged from the disease, which caused havoc and sparked a series of other health issues. However, the former Labour lobbyist defied the odds and was released from hospital more than 12 months after he was admitted, allowing him to continue recovery at home. “It does feel like I have walked through a fiery furnace, or fell down a rabbit hole,” said Kate. “The world went dark and I’m still looking for the light at the end of the tunnel. “Covid has devastated him, from the top of his head to the tip of his toe — his digestive system, his liver, his heart, his nervous system. We’re pretty sure the inflammation did pass through his brain. “Fundamentally he is in a terrible state, but look: he’s alive.”
