Why Canillas de Aceituno is THE place to invest around these parts now Andalusia is no longer just a Summer holiday on the beach for Europe. Rural tourism is flourishing and tiny, whitewashed villages now compete alongside beach resorts in popularity as they never could have done before. One such village is Canillas de Aceituno, 30 minutes inland from the coast. Apart from the fact that it is picturesque, full of colour, light and charm, with good facilities and amazing views, this beautiful little place now has “El Saltillo”, a mountain walk running above the village to nearby Sedella. The swinging bridge over a deep gorge is its main attraction, and the walk is on the way to rivalling the top tourist attraction in Andalusia –the “Caminito del Rey” in El Chorro. Taking in nature and the magnificence of the mountains, the walk has put Canillas on the map, as enthusiastic groups of walkers and hikers, couples and young families, head to the hills to discover it. As a result of its growing popularity, Canillas is becoming a hot-spot for property hunters and a good place for small investors, as the demand for accommodation grows. One example is our clients and good friends Tracey and Allan, just nearing completion of the renovation of their stunning little B&B in the heart of the village, ‘La ViejaBotica’, in the old village pharmacy. Exciting times lie ahead for this couple, as they prepare to open their doors and let in the tourists! There is still plenty on offer at a reasonable price in the village, including bargains to be had, restored and let out, providing a realistic return on investment. The village has some excellent builders, as well as experienced renovators such as Tracey and Allan, making it an even easier little project to take on and instantly make friends. So, if you are looking for somewhere to invest a little capital in this part of the world, talk to us for a selection of properties and projects in Canillas de Aceituno. Strictly business Motsi Mabuse has claimed there are no strong bonds between the Strictly Come Dancing judges, insisting the panel gets the job done but is not friendly outside of work.

The twinkle-toed star, 41, who has been a judge on the BBC ballroom dance contest since 2019, says she and Anton Du Beke, 56, Craig Revel Horwood, 57, and head judge Shirley Ballas, 62, may wish each other well on special occasions but otherwise they all prefer spending time apart at home.

When asked if they are 'pals' and spend time together outside of work, she told The Telegraph: 'No. None of that. There are some moments where you write “Happy birthday” or something like that.'

Describing their relationship as 'professional’, she added: ‘In Germany, we’ve had the same judges for 10 years and there’s a basis of friendship. In the UK, it’s different.

'There’s so much pressure – it’s prime time, so you get in, you do the job and everybody just wants to go home,' she explained. B for Bully? Mel C has claimed that her Spice Girls bandmate Mel B 'bullied' her when the band were at the height of their fame in the nineties.

The performer, also known as Sporty Spice, 48, is about to release her first autobiography Who I Am: My Story, and she has recalled some of the more heated moments she experienced with the legendary pop group.

Singer Mel said she and Scary Spice would get into spats when they were on the road, recounting the moment they shared some angry words and were pulled apart by Geri Horner during a work trip to Los Angeles.

Mel C explained to The Sunday Times: 'We’d been on a night out and come back to the bar. We were on the port, and Geri, trying to keep the peace and keep us apart, ended up getting clocked in the face.'

Mel insists all members of the band have remained close, however. ‘We five know that individually we would not have achieved what we did together and we are so grateful to each other for that,' she told the Daily Mail. ‘We don’t fight any more — we give each other the space that we need.’

Bitter Britney Britney Spears took to Instagram recently to explain how her father forced her to undergo several MRI examinations making her fear she had a rare cancer.

'I really felt like my dad was just trying to kill me and I really hope he burns in hell,' she declared at the end of a two-minute audio clip.

Spears, 40, also vented her frustrations with her sons as they continue to avoid her. Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, have not seen their mother for nearly six months now.

Their father Kevin Federline said it has been difficult for them since a judge decided to end her 13-year conservatorship.

Since then, Spears has taken advantage of her newfound freedom by posting almost nude selfies to Instagram, even though she knows it embarrasses her sons. She maintains it “empowers” her.

In the clip, the superstar, 40, said that she has lost her purpose now that she doesn't see them.' Since they’ve been gone, a huge part of me has died,' she said.

She also explained that her reason for posting the recording was that her therapist is only available ‘usually once a week’ and it's important for her to ‘feel like I can share.’ Knockout blow Former professional boxer Chris Eubank, 56, suffered an embarrassing mishap as he ran over his designer luggage while driving his 2.6 tonne Rolls Royce Phantom convertible in London recently.

The former professional boxer, 56, had pulled out of his parking space during an outing in West London when he made the unlucky discovery that his cream holdall was stuck beneath the wheels of the luxury motor.

In a bid to free it, Chris ran over the bag a second time before a passer-by came to the rescue to help free it from behind the front wheel.

The good Samaritan lay on the floor and poked around until he retrieved the crumpled Longchamp bag which was covered in black tyre marks.

The helpful stranger appeared star-struck as he handed over the bag to a grateful Chris, who got out of his Rolls Royce to thank him.

The middleweight champion, who retired from boxing in 1997, is known for his eccentric sense of style, often sporting tailored suits, jodhpurs, bowler hats and monocles.
