Knopka in Bulgaria One day Knopka followed two tourists. They went to the port and got on ferry. She was so curious and got on it, too. She made friends with these tourists. The ferry arrived in Varna, Bulgaria and Knopka saw the sights of this town, called “Sea capital�.


They travelled by train during the wheaten fields and arrived in Veliko Tarnovo, the old capital of Bulgaria. Knopka had a good time in the King’s castle.

Then they visited the Shipka monument, connected with the defense of Shipka Pass during the Russian-Turkish war in 1877/1878.


Knopka likes very much the Rose valley! It was so aromatic! Beautiful girls with national costumes gathered roses.

She saw so many famous places in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria!


Then they arrived in Blagoevgrad, Đ° city in southwestern Bulgaria, with a population of 70,881 inhabitants. It lies on the banks of the Blagoevgradska Bistritsa River. The city is the economic and cultural centre of southwestern Bulgaria. It is located in the valley of the Struma River at the foot of the Rila and Pirin Mountains. Knopka and his new friends visited 4th school and saw happy students playing in the school yard. They like the dog, hugs it and walked together in the city.

The students from 3rd b grade were very polite to show the famous places in their home town.
