The Colorado- base d Oceanic Preservation Society focuses on promoting marine conservation and environmentalism. Founded by photographer and diving enthusiast Louie Psihoyos OPS uses film, photography, and social media to inspire, empower, and connect a global community of activists fighting to protect our fragile planet.

The organization received attention for making the award- winning d ocumentary “The Cove.” The documentary created in 2009 was an eye-opener to the horrors of the annual Taiji dolphin hunt. Other films created by OPS include “Racing Extinction”, “The Game Changers” and “Leuser: The Last Place on Earth”.

They also use their mobile projections and visual displays to unite communities across the globe. Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, OPS highlight the beauty and fragility of this diverse planet through the projection of images onto iconic buildings like Empire State Building, United Nations, St. Peter’s Basilica at The Vatican, etc. Through their visual displays, OPS shine a light on global threats to biodiversity, catalyzing action and inspiring hope for tomorrow.
