13,000 plastic objects float in every square kilometre of ocean. When you see this icon the products or brands they are either Australian designed and/or Australian Made.
What kind of tomorrow are YOU creating? 15 years ago we opened the first top3 by design store at a little corner location in Crows Nest, Sydney. When I was out and people would ask what I do, and I said I had a design store, they would ask what kind of clothes... The recognition of design has certainly changed a lot over the past decade, sadly not always for the better. The deliberate fraud, with counterfeit and fake product (at times legally called replica) has lead to many young Australian designers losing their income and opportunities to work in their chosen field. Most European countries have made laws against this theft of ideas with heavy fines or jail time for the posession of counterfeit or replica products.

trash + treasure Ocean Collection is an exploration into the relationship between materials, consumption and luxury. The storage Queen Tina Clark could not find something practical and stylish for her growing and precious collection. After damage from moisture to a favourite pair stored in plastic containers, Tina took on the design challenge. After enlisting the help of Sydney industrial designer Andrew Simpson, Sagitine was bought to life. The Sagitine shoe racks have a powder coated aluminium frame, with solid walnut top. The storage boxes are made from heavy-weight cardboard to allow your shoes (or intimates) to breath, with leather drawer pulls and powder coated metal frame for the stands. Sagitine Storage systems keep your most precious items stored in an orderly fashion, with easy access for even the most spontaneous occasions.
