Q: "I'm very interested in trying out extensions because they're so dynamic and gorgeous. I'm curious about the cost, their longevity, what's best for me... just what am I getting myself into? Thanks for your response!"

A: The great part about extensions is that everything I do is tailored to each individual client. After a very quick and easy consultation, there will be many options for volume and length, depending on what works for you. So, if you want to look fabulous for one special night or create a new and ongoing part of your look, there's something for you and something to meet your budget. You will look like a million bucks but definitely won't pay a million bucks.

I use Perfectress Remy human hair extensions that enhance the overall look while protecting the integrity of the hair. This brand has multiple colors, textures, and methods available. The method I use the most is "Transformation Connections." This method puts hair on hair without metal or glue. Once in, these extensions can stay in and only require maintenance instead of any do-overs. Extensions can help you feel like a better version of yourself!

ASK THE EXPERT

Planning a corporate event, post-Covid? Here is what the (near) future of events looks like. Expect issues with supply and demand into 2022.

The entire event industry was impacted by Covid. Availability and staffing will be a huge obstacle. Consider having your event on non-peak nights, and be willing to adapt your plans, especially if you're on a budget. Look for mobile apps to be the norm.

Instead of materials printed on paper, events will focus more on mobile apps. You don’t have to be a tech wiz – there are great options that can be built in a few hours with drag-and-drop platforms. Plus, they add polish to any event. Increased cleaning at venues is still a must.

Covid made everyone very aware of cleanliness; that shouldn’t stop now. Event managers should make a plan with the venue staff for enhanced cleaning, especially of high-touch surfaces. Hand sanitizer is here to stay! Veronica has managed corporate events from New York to California to London, as well as conferences, social events and weddings.
