The Leadership Louisville Center is accepting applications through July 29, 2022, for the Spring 2023 Ignite Louisville class. The award-winning Ignite Louisville professional development program for up-and-coming leaders aged 25-45 is a six-month experience combining training, deep networking, and team building. Beginning with a two-day overnight retreat in late October, the class meets monthly for Program Days and hands-on nonprofit partnership projects through the Ignite Louisville Challenge. It concludes with a competition, graduation, and celebration in April 2023. Presented by Norton Healthcare, Ignite Louisville launched in 2004 and has graduated over 1160 exceptional young professional leaders. The program distinctively influences the skills, networks, and perspectives shaping the region’s business and community associations for decades. More immediate benefits include higherperforming talent, employee engagement and retention, and valuable business connections. To make space for new programs launching soon, the Leadership Louisville Center is offering only one Ignite Louisville class in the next year instead of two, as held in previous years. "Brown-Forman has been a long-time supporter of this program because we believe it is an excellent way to develop important skills for our up-and-coming leaders,” says Brown-Forman Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Kirsten Hawley. “Ignite Louisville teaches participants how to influence without authority, leverage diversity, diagnose issues, and lead change – skills they practice with nonprofit agencies of their choosing. Our employees bring these leadership skills back to their day jobs and can apply their learning to the roles they have today and will have in the future." Leadership Louisville Center invites interested organizations and individuals to join them for an Ignite Louisville info session with an opportunity to hear from program graduates, ask questions, and determine whether the experience is a fit. This free event takes place Wednesday, July 13, 2022, 5 - 7:00 p.m. ET at Noble Funk Brewing Company, 922 South 2nd Street in Old Louisville.
