The Fought Dinner

Nestled in the beautiful landscape of Lexington lies a home that amplifies the apex of luxury living. Through the imagination of the Foughts and architect Paul Lee and the expert craftsmanship of Jimmy Nash Homes, a one of a kind home was built in the bluegrass. This partnership brought together Clay Leavell of Kitchen Concepts and Joe Reilly of Pieratt s contractor sales to create not only a highly functional kitchen, but one whose quality and performance matched the rest of the home. With that in mind, there was only one option for appliances: Subzero, Wolf, and Cove. After the project was complete, Tisdel, the distributor for those brands, joined other project partners along with the homeowners, David and Elizabeth, to create a dining experience as unique and luxurious as the home itself.

The kitchen is the heart of the home and the Fought kitchen was crafted to impress. The residence features an array of luxury appliances that offer sophistication and unparalleled performance. Tisdel distributing executive chef Brandie Lamb, along with Tisdel's Shannon Wynn and Chef Matt Arlington, crafted a menu specifically for the occasion, highlighting the capabilities of Subzero refrigeration and wine storage, Wolf cooking, and the Cove dishwasher.

It is important for us at Tisdel Distributing for our customers to use their appliances to their fullest potential. I believe the best way to do this is through cooking demonstrations in our showroom or being in the client s home after the appliances are installed, Chef Brandie says as she helps the homeowner season their new Wolf double griddle before the dinner party begins. Pieratt s is proud to offer in home use and care to their builder clients. While this doesn't mean everyone gets a chef for a day, they will receive one on one instruction from the Tisdel factory representative about all of their new kitchen appliances.

The menu consisted of a ten hour braised beef short rib, prepared peking duck style over a coconut farro, collard green curry, and peanut red chili gremolata. The salad did not disappoint with chef Brandie s southern take on a wedge, complete with shaved, farm raised egg and pimento cheese. The dessert of malted chocolate brownie and gelato didn't end there; a surprise adult milkshake accompanied by a chocolate wafer straw was a fun treat to end the evening.
