ELLA PAYNE
Top Agent Ella Payne with Realty One Group Emerald Coast, has a clientele ranging from Pensacola to Panama City. Turning a negative into a positive sums up Ella Payne’s entry into real estate. Her journey began after a negative experience purchasing her first house. “We had a really bad experience,” Ella recalls. “The REALTOR® didn’t advise us to get a home inspection, we bought it sight unseen and so many things could have gone wrong.” Eventually she bought two more houses and realized that she liked looking at and shopping for homes Copyright Top Agent Magazine
so much that she might as well obtain her real estate license. “For some women it’s shoes and purses,” she laughs. “For me, I just want to buy another house.” Motivated by her love of the industry and her desire to ensure others didn’t face the same challenges, Ella earned her real estate license in 2017. Today she is with Realty ONE Group Emerald Coast, with a clientele ranging from Pensacola to Panama City.
Ella’s dedication and hard work have yielded impressive results. In 2022, her best year in real estate, she achieved a sales volume of $16 million, completing 39 transactions. Her love for helping clients achieve their goals is a driving force in her work. She especially finds joy in supporting military
families during times of transition and guiding buyers to find their dream homes. “When a military family needs to move before their house is sold, I take care of everything for them,” she relates. “I make sure that they don’t have anything to worry about back here. I reassure them and let them know

that it’s going to happen, we’re going to get this sold for them, and everything is going to be OK. I love being that support for them.” As a solo agent, Ella has a background in accounting and finance. “I’m very detail-oriented,” she says. “I also try to save my buyers and my sellers as much money as possible by doing legwork for them.” Her dedication to serving clients and her responsiveness are key factors that contribute to her strong repeat and referral business. “I like to stay on top of everything happening in a transaction,” she adds. year she is participating in the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors’ Leadership Development Program, which focuses on policy and politics related to real estate. Through her involvement, Ella seeks to make a positive impact on fair housing and affordable housing initiatives. “We, as REALTORS®, have the power to impact policy,” she says. “I want to be more involved in the policy and politics of housing, to help make an impact.” Additionally, she contributes to the Special Operators Transition Foundation, which supports Military Special Operators that are transitioning from Active Duty to a Civilian Career. “My husband and I also
support the Special Needs community, as our son is on the Autism Spectrum,” Ella explains. In her personal life, Ella enjoys spending time at her cabin on the Blackwater River, providing a peaceful getaway for her and her family. Looking ahead, Ella plans to continue building relationships, staying active in the community and making a difference in the housing industry. She is dedicated to helping others and creating positive experiences for her clients. “I enjoy building relationships,” she says, “and making connections with people.”
