KELLY CHRISTENSON

Kelly Christenson wakes up every morning enthusiastic for the new day. As leader of the KC Realty Group at RE/MAX Trinity in Fort Worth, Kelly’s role leading her talented and efficient team of agents is her true passion. “I’m the old mama,” she jokes of her role at the top. “We have a really great team; we’re dynamic and I love being a team lead.” Her affection for client interaction, combined with her unquenchable thirst for learning, makes every day a new adventure. “I love that each new day is a learning experience,” she enthuses.

Kelly’s journey in real estate is an inspiring testament to her drive and boundless energy. “I was an accountant looking for a change,” she recalls. “When I was in accounting, I was working long hours that were set by someone else. I wanted some flexibility in my schedule. I wanted limitless opportunities. With young children at the time, I wanted to be able to be involved in their school activities. Real estate gave me all of that.”

Kelly entered real estate in 2005, joining a boutique firm in Fort Worth. However, during the recession, she recognized the need for a stronger brand presence and transitioned to RE/MAX in 2010. Since then, she’s been an anchor of excellence within the industry for a remarkable 18 years, with her sales volume of $13 million per year serving as a testament to her tenacity and expertise. Her team’s service area covers an impressive expanse, encompassing Fort Worth, Arlington and Tarrant County as a whole. Their powerful team dynamics extend beyond business transactions, Kelly stresses, fostering relationships that endure beyond the sale. “We believe that a client isn’t just a client for the 30 or 45 days that you’re with them,” she emphasizes. “It’s a lifelong relationship.”

To help foster those lifelong connections to clients, Kelly and her team host numerous events throughout the year, including a drive-in movie night, a day with Santa, pies at Thanksgiving, flags on the 4th of July, a lottery drawing, as well as consistent popbys throughout the year. “Our goal is to stay in constant communication with our clients,” Kelly stresses, adding: “I love the client interaction.”

In the realm of marketing, Kelly’s team is an innovative powerhouse. Utilizing social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter, they have harnessed the digital age to its fullest potential. Kelly’s commitment extends beyond business and into her community.

Her involvement with the Children’s Miracle Network, exemplified by RE/MAX Trinity’s “Burgers for Babies” fundraising event, epitomizes her devotion to making a lasting impact. Last year, RE/MAX Trinity raised $104,000 for the charity. “It’s a very big collective effort,” she adds.

When she’s not facilitating dreams of homeownership, Kelly unwinds by supporting her daughter’s college football games and enjoying family time. Looking ahead, Kelly is focused on growth, not just for her business but for the families she serves. Her advice to the newer agents echoes her own journey’s resilience: “Keep people informed, because it’s still attainable to get a home.”
