Our manifesto, born from a workshop hosted by Tu Delft and esteemed universities, delves into the core of a just city. Through our journey, we arrived at a powerful realization—the old Arabic city model, despite its waning influence, held fundamental principles that cultivated justice. In this manifesto, we deconstruct the old city model, presenting it as a blueprint for constructing contemporary just cities. Yet, our purpose extends beyond replication; we advocate for a retrospective approach, immersing ourselves in our heritage to establish a resilient and just future.
