Welcome to my portfolio! I am currently a third year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in interior design and a Bachelor of Business Administration in entrepreneurial management at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. I believe in creating space by taking influences from the past and present while infusing a modern sensibility, and I hope my work can speak for that. I hope it conveys that I love what I do, and I find excitement within every project. What it might tell you is that I am only starting on my path to finding my design process. I have enjoyed being the first student to attempt both the Neeley School of Business and the TCU interior design program. The time management skills I have learned by taking all these courses have made me an efficient and quick learner, while also being thorough. I hope to use my business education to further have an understanding of the finance process that goes into creating a cost effective project that aligns with client expectations.

Interior Design II
Challenge: Design a luxury apartment with European inspiration that accommodates a married couple with a son in a wheelchair. Concept: This residential apartment designed for the Barnhart Family will be located on the Prinsengracht Canal in Amsterdam. The main focus of this design is to have a private space as well as an open public feel with the use of glass and atriums We will be taking advantage of the glass surroundings of the apartment and having the furniture floating, having as little touching the walls as possible. The style of the space will be modern and naturalistic.

South Main Fort Worth, TX
Interior Design III
Challenge: Design a Mexican restaurant located in the South Main District in Fort Worth. One specialty space will be required and a minimum square footage for each part of the restaurant. Concept: The South Main Urban Village of Fort Worth is the ideal location for a new Mexican restaurant with close proximity to the Medical District, Railway Express, and Magnolia Street. The Mexican culture is traditionally known for having bright colors and intricate street decorations. The restaurant will be an artesian style Mexican, taking traditional recipes and adding modern twists. We will invite local artist/ design schools to showcase their graffiti art, having it change each year. The main influence of the design style and menu is industrial while incorporating the values and principles of the urban planning.

MUSEUM DESIGN
Challenge: Design a museum that brings a community together Concept: The mission of the Driftwood Cultural Center is to give attention to the differences between cultures and create a sense of collectiveness. The museum will have a space to educate the local youth on the importance of heritage. The glass walls that connect the classroom to the café works as a reminder to the guest that there we are always a part of one another’s history and culture. Driftwood Heritage Center will also create a connection throughout the community by offering activities and events that all groups and ages of people will be able to enjoy.
