Body in Texas believed to be missing Colo. woman SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Police say they believe a body found in suburban San Antonio is that of a Colorado woman missing nearly four weeks. The San Antonio Express-News reports Garden Ridge police believe the body found Thursday is that of 33-yearold Leanne Bearden. Police say Bearden’s ID and jewelry were found with the body. Few other details were released. An autopsy was planned. Bearden and her husband, Josh, are from the Denver area and had been staying at his parents’ home in Garden Ridge. She was last seen Jan. 17 when she left her in-laws’ home for a walk. The body was found in a wooded area less than a mile from where she was last seen.

‘Each relationship is different, but the love is the same.’

Relationships are different. Some couples start off rocky, while others begin with smooth sailing. Some couples fight separation, and some fight for equality. Some face cultural contrasts, and others face the test of time. Each relationship is different, but the love is the same.
Texas governor candidate Davis backs gay marriage SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Wendy Davis, the Democratic candidate for Texas governor, said Thursday that she supports gay marriage and called on Attorney General Greg Abbott to stop defending the Texas Constitution’s definition of marriage as between one man and one woman. Davis told the San Antonio ExpressNews editorial board that two people who want to marry should be allowed to do so regardless of their sexual orientation. She said if elected she would support the repeal of the voter-approved constitutional amendment that bans same-sex marriage. She spoke the day after a federal judge in San Antonio heard arguments that the ban on gay marriage violates the equal protection clause of the U.S. Constitution. Same-sex marriage is legal in 17 states and federal lawsuits have been filed in 24 states.
