issed field goals and lost opportunities continue to cause problems for the Texas Tech football team, as its losing streak is extended to four games after the Red Raiders’ most recent loss. The Red Raiders now have a losing record in three categories after falling to Kansas State, 42-35, on Saturday, Nov. 4, at Jones AT&T Stadium. Tech has an overall record of 4-5, a home record of 2-3 and a
Big 12 Conference record of 1-5. Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury could not pinpoint where the mistakes are in his team and said there are probably several areas that need improvement. “There’s something going on. There’s no question,” Kingsbury said. “To not be able to get this one done, we’ve got to play with more confidence late in the games. We’ve got to be able to make kicks and we’ve got to make kicks. It’s a number of things.”
