Ո՞վ կկարողանայ պարերգութեան հանդէսով պատուել ցողի մէկ կաթիլը քո բարութեան, Դո՛ւ, որ հետամուտ ես միշտ միջոցներ գտնել իմ փրկութեան համար: Եւ դեռ աւելին պիտի գրեմ, որպէսզի պատմուի գալոց: Հրեշտակասէր չանուանուեցիր դու, որ հիմնեցիր պետութիւնները նրանց: Ոչ էլ ասացիր երբեւիցէ, թէ սիրում ես երկինքն իր ջահերով, Որոնք քո մատներով յօրինեցիր դու. 2
Այլ ի պատիւ քեզ` մեծագոյն գովութեան արժանի` մարդասիրութիւնը գերադասեցիր, Որով կրկնակի՛ մեծացրիր դու քո անունը անճառ սոսկալի խորհուրդներով: Լուսակերպարան երկրայիններին այն` սպասաւորներ կոչեցիր Եւ յատուկ մատակարարումների վերակացուներ. Իսկ երկրածիններիս մահկանացու` Պերճացրիր դու տիրական եւ աստուածային քո պաշտելի անուամբ. Ամէն սահմանից, կշռից ու չափից վեր քո ծայրագոյն բարութեան մաքուր ծորումի համար Կտակներ անթիւ եւ անբաւ ճառեր յօրինուեցին քեզ: Դու եւս, մէկն աստուածային էութիւնից, մարդանալով, Ոմանց` իրենց համար, եւ ոմանց` այլոց, Զեղեցիր կեանքի պարգեւներ առատ, պէս-պէս հրաշքներ, Սքանչելիքներ աստուածագործ եւ նշաններ ճշմարտատեսիլ: Եթէ գթալով դու ողորմեցիր թերահաւատ անդամալոյծին, Տեսնելով, որ նրան խնամողները յոյսով են դիմում քեզ, Ո՜րքան աւելի զօրաւոր պիտի լինի քո խօսքը ամենակարող Մաքրելու համար մարմինն ախտալից քեզ հառաչագին աղաղակողիս: Քանզի արդարեւ շատ աւելի մեծ հրաշք է սրբել անմաքուր հոգին, Քան թէ լուացուած պատկերը աղտին դարձնել անենթակա. Մանաւանդ որ աւազանի շնորհն աւելանալով երկրորդի վրայ` Է՛լ աւելի է բարձրացնում հայրենի փառքն անճառ: Բ Դո՛ւ ես, Տէր, որ մաքրում ես մեզ, Ինչպէս առաջուց ցոյց տուեցիր դու 3
Մովսէսի վրայ` քո ընտրեալի: Դու վերակացու եղար Յակոբի տոհմին, Նրա մեղքերի եւ անօրէնութիւնների մէջ, Երբ Եգիպտոսում` հեթանոսական խաւարում նրանք խարխափում էին: Դո՛ւ ես լուսաւորում մեղաւորներին իրենց ընթացքի մէջ, ըստ երգող Դաւթի: Դո՛ւ ես, որ սրտի քարեղէն կարծրութիւնը փոխարկում ես մարմնի կակղութեան, Որպէսզի կարող լինի քո խօսքն իր մէջ ընդունելու: Դո՛ւ ես, որ կարող ես ընձեռել ա՛յլ սիրտ եւ մէկ ճանապարհ` Երկնչել քեզնից կեանքի բովանդակ տեւողութեան մէջ: Դո՛ւ ես, որ խստամիտների մէջ դնում ես քո երկիւղը միշտ, Որպէսզի հաւատքով ուշք դարձնեն քեզ, մարգարէների խօսքի համաձայն: Գ Քո աշխարհաստեղծ բերանի օրհնեալ շրթունքների աստուածեղէն անձրեւների կաթիլը կենարար, Որպէս բանալի` լսելիքներիս դռա՜նը մօտեցրու, Որով խորամանկ բանսարկու օձի թոյնը վերցնես ու բժշկե՜ս դու: Քո ամենակալ ձեռքով բռնիր շարժուող գործիքն իմ խօսողութեան, Եւ ազդի՛ր նրան ձայնի զօրութիւն, Դո՛ւ, որ տալիս ես լեզու բոլորին` ընտիր խօսելու. Որպէսզի ես էլ, դաստիարակուելով պատշաճապէս, Չլինի, որ մեր նախահօր նման հանդուգն խօսելով` զրկուեմ քո լոյսից, Եւ անբանութեան դատապարտուեմ` որսողից քշուած: Քո կենդանաբաշխ աջը երկարելով` Լուսաւորի՛ր վերստին խաւարած աչքերն իմ հոգու, 4
Որ չլինի թէ վիշապի շնչով մարելով լապտերն համարձակութեան` Գրվանի ներքոյ մնամ ծածկուած: Վերցրո՛ւ անօրէնութիւններն իմ, Տէ՛ր, եւ նետիր նրանք խորքերը ծովի, Որ փոքր է անչափ քո անսահման մեծութեան համեմատութեամբ, Ուր իմ մեղքերը կարող են սուզուել, ըստ մարգարէի: Կործանուած հոգուս համար կանգնիր նշան վստահութեան, Որ չլինի թէ կառուցուելով վհատութեան կոթող` Ծածկուածները հրապարակ հանի բարձրաձայն: Բա՛ց բժշկարանիդ կենաց վարդապետարանը, հզօ՜ր եւ գթած, Որպէսզի մեր մէջ կորուսչի ցանած, մշակած բոլոր որոմները չար` Կամքիդ մանգաղով ընդհուպ արմատից հնձես ու թափես: Դ Երբ Պետրոսի պէս քայլերս ուզեցի ուղղել դէպի քեզ, Աստուած բոլորի, Սուզուեցի եւ ես այս աշխարհային մեղսածուփ ծովի ալիքների մէջ, Մօտեցրու աջը քո ազատարար, օգնելու համար ինձ` սասանեալիս, Քանանուհու հետ ձայնակից` ե՛ս էլ սրտիս խորքերից Պաղատում եմ քեզ, ահա, սովահար որսորդական շան նման կաղկանձող. Քո բազմազեղուն ու ճոխ սեղանից բաժին հան եւ ինձ` թշուառ սովեալիս, Որպէս ապրուստի կերակուր տալով փշրանքներն հացի: Փրկի՛ր նիւթեղէն խորանն իմ, ո՛վ դու, Որ աշխարհ եկար փնտրելու կորածին եւ ապրեցնելու: Զի քո է մեծութիւն, յաղթութիւն եւ զօրութիւն. 5
Դո՛ւ ես քաւութիւն եւ բժշկութիւն, նորոգութիւն եւ երանութիւն. Եւ քեզ է վայելում փա՜ռք, երկրպագութիւն յաւիտեանս. ամէն: ... ... վայելում փա՜ռք, երկրպագութիւն յաւիտեանս. ամէն: ԱՂՕԹՔ Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա: Տէ՜ր, ըրէ այնպէս՝ որ սիրտս Քու սիրովդ եւ քաղցրութեամբդ լեցուի, եւ ես ալ Քու բարութեանդ ցոլացումը ըլլամ շրջապատիս մէջ: Խեղճն ու տկարը ոտնակոխ չ’ընեմ, ցաւին ու տագնապին անտարբեր չի մնամ, այլ՝ Քու քաղցր ցօղդ ըլլամ, եւ անժպիտ մարդոց ժպիտ մը բերեմ, անուրախ մարդոց սիրտը ուրախացնեմ, յուսահատ մարդոց յաւիտենական կեանքի յոյսը տամ, անսէր մարդոց սէր բաշխեմ, սառնացեալ սիրտերը սիրովդ ջերմացնեմ՝ Քու սուրբ անունովդ: Ամէն: ՊՕՂՈՍ ԱՌԱՔԵԱԼԻ ՀՌՈՄԷԱՑԻՆԵՐՈՒՆ ԳՐԱԾ ՆԱՄԱԿԷՆ 8: 18-26 Արդարեւ ես այնպէս կը սեպեմ թէ այս ներկայ ժամանակին չարչարանքները՝ արժանի չեն բաղդատուելու գալիք փառքին հետ, որ պիտի յայտնուի մեր մէջ: Քանի որ արարածները եռանդուն ակնկալութեամբ կը սպասեն Աստուծոյ որդիներուն յայտնութեան: Որովհետեւ արարածները հպատակեցան ունայնութեան, ո՛չ թէ իրենց կամքով, հապա անոր պատճառով՝ որ հպատակեցուց զիրենք, այն յոյսով՝ որ արարածները իրե՛նք ալ, ազատելով ապականութեան ստրկութենէն, հասնին Աստուծոյ զաւակներուն փառաւոր ազատութեան: Քանի որ գիտենք թէ բոլոր արարածները միասին կը հառաչեն ու երկունքի ցաւ կը քաշեն մինչեւ հիմա: Եւ ո՛չ միայն անոնք, 6
հապա մե՛նք ալ՝ որ ունինք Հոգիին երախայրիքը, նոյնիսկ մե՛նք մեր մէջ կը հառաչենք՝ սպասելով որդեգրութեան, այսինքն մեր մարմինին ազատագրութեան: Որովհետեւ մենք յոյսով փրկուեցանք. բայց այն յոյսը որ կը տեսնուի՝ յոյս չէ. Քանի որ ինչո՞ւ մէկը տակաւին յուսայ այն բանին՝ որ արդէն կը տեսնէ: Իսկ եթէ կը յուսանք մեր չտեսած բանին, ա՛լ համբերութեամբ սպասենք անոր: 5: 1-5 Ուրեմն մենք՝ հաւատքով արդարացած ըլլալով՝ խաղաղութիւն ունինք Աստուծոյ հետ մեր Տէրոջ՝ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի միջոցով: Անով նաեւ արտօնութիւն ունեցանք հաւատքով մօտենալու այս շնորհքին՝ որուն մէջ կեցած ենք, եւ կը պարծենանք Աստուծոյ փառքին յոյսով: Ո՛չ միայն այսքան, հապա կը պարծենանք տառապանքներու մէջ ալ. որովհետեւ գիտենք թէ տառապանքը կ՚իրագործէ համբերութիւն, համբերութիւնը՝ փորձառութիւն, ու փորձառութիւնը՝ յոյս. եւ յոյսը ամօթահար չ՚ըներ, որովհետեւ Աստուծոյ սէրը մեր սիրտերուն մէջ սփռուած է Սուրբ Հոգիին միջոցով՝ որ տրուեցաւ մեզի: ՔԱՐՈԶ Վասն հիւանդաց եւ ամենայն վշտացելոց աղաչեսցուք զՓրկիչն մեր Քրիստոս, զի ողորմեսցի ըստ մեծի ողորմութեան Իւրում եւ բժշկեսցէ զախտս եւ զհիւանդութիւնս հոգւոց եւ մարմնոց ծառայից Իւրոց եւ կատարեալ առողջութեամբ հասուսցէ զամենեսեան ի մշտնջենաւոր եւ յանախտ կեանս: Որ առաքեցաւ ի Հօրէ ի բժշկութիւն ազգի մարդկան Միածին Որդին Աստուծոյ՝ Տէր մեր եւ Փրկիչ Յիսուս Քրիստոս. կեցո՛ եւ ողորմեա՛:

ԲԺՇԿՈՒԹԵԱՆ ԱՂՕԹՔ Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա: Փարատէ՛ ցաւերը եւ բժշկէ՛ հիւանդութիւնները քու ժողովուրդէդ, Տէր Աստուած մեր եւ բոլորին կատարեալ առողջութի՛ւն շնորհէ` Քու ամենայաղթ խաչիդ նշանով, որուն միջոցով մարդկութեան տկարութիւնը վերցուցիր եւ դատապարտեցիր մեր կեանքի եւ փրկութեան թշնամին: Դուն ես մեր կեանքն ու փրկութիւնը, բարերար եւ բազումողորմ Աստուած. միայն Դո՛ւ կրնաս ներել մեր մեղքերը եւ մեզմէ հեռացնել ախտերն ու հիւանդութիւնները. Որովհետեւ Քեզի յայտնի են մեր կարիքները: Բարիքներու պարգեւիչ, առատ ողորմութիւնդ պարգեւէ՛ քու արարածներուդ՝ իւրաքանչիւրին իր պէտքին համաձայն, որովհետեւ արարածներուդ միջոցով միշտ կը գովաբանուի Ամենասուրբ Երրորդութիւնդ. READING: FROM MADYAN VOGHPERKOUTYAN (NAREG) Prayer 35 Speaking with God from the Depths of the Heart A And now, Lord of hosts, awesome majesty, unwavering vision, all expansive will, undiminishing bounty, how can our dances and songs of joy do honor to even one drop of your goodness? You earnestly strive to prepare for my salvation, but let me write what is greater, that it might be told in the future. You have not been called “angel lover,� although the founder of their kingdom. And of the heavens with their luminaries, all your handiwork, never have you been described as loving them. Rather to your greater honor and praise, you preferred the love of mankind. For this reason you doubly magnified your name 10
beyond telling, with frightening mystery. You called the heavenly host dressed in light, your servants and stewards of special missions, and us mortals, born below, you adorned with your worshipful, lordly and godly name, exceeding again all bounds of measure and weight, by the flow of your power and exceeding goodness, you inspired endless praise. And by becoming man, you, one of “the One who is,� your gifts of life, diverse talents, splendid divine work and miracles, poured down abundantly upon some who asked for themselves, and others who asked blessings for others. Moved by the faith of his nurses, you cured the cripple, though he was lacking in faith. How much more able, then, is your mighty word to cleanse the disease from the bodies of those who cry out to you in prayer? For truly, Lord, it is a greater miracle to keep a washed image pure, and protected against the attack of unruly diseases, than to cleanse a corrupt soul, from the first, with the favor of the grace of the baptismal font, you exalt the glory of the Father. B It is you, Lord, who cleanses us, as you did first with your chosen, Moses. 11
It is you, who looked over the tribe of Jacob in their sin and lawlessness, as they became accustomed to the dark pagan ways of the land of Egypt. It is you, who, in the words of the Psalmist David, teaches the sinner to walk in the law of righteousness. It is you who replaces the stubborn, hardness of stony hearts, with the obedient softness of flesh, receptive to the Word. It is you who can guide hearts to a single way, respecting you with their full lives. It is you who instill respect, fear and faith, to heed you, according to the voice of the Prophet. C Like a key to the doors of my hearing, may you sprinkle life-giving divine rain from your blessed lips that created the world. May you remove the poison of the cunning serpent, that troublemaker Satan, and heal me. And with your almighty hand guide my tongue and strengthen my voice, which you have freely given to all, that it might speak boldly, and teach fittingly, neither depriving me of hope or betraying me into nonsense, by speaking impudently like our forefather Adam. Illumine again the light of my soul’s darkened eye with the touch of your life-giving right hand, so the lamp of my boldness may not be extinguished by the serpent’s breath and be hidden under a bushel. Lift away my sins, Lord, and cast them into 12
the depths of the sea, seas so small in comparison to your greatness that in the words of the prophet: they can swallow up my evil. Restore confidence to my wrecked soul, so that a monument of disappointment not be erected to my hidden faults. Open, almighty and merciful, the handbook of life-giving cures, so that the seeds sown and cultivated by the Destroyer here below might be cut down and uprooted with the sickle of your will. D In the manner of Peter, seeking to follow you, God of all, I was swallowed by the waves of the sea of my sinful life. Extend your life-giving right hand to help me, for I am foundering. In the voice the Canaanite women, I pray from the bottom of my heart, like a starving dog yelping, wretched and anxious, begging for scraps, a few crumbs of the bread of life from your bountiful table. Save my physical altar, Son of bitterness, who came to rescue me when I was lost. For yours is majesty, victory and power. And you are atonement and healing, renewal and bliss. To you all glory and praise forever. Amen. 13
PRAYER Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy Lord, please fill my heart with your love and sweetness, so I can become the reflection of your goodness to my surroundings. Work in me Lord, so I will not trumlpe the weak and the helpless; so I will not be ignorant to the pain and trouble, but rather will be the reflection of Your love and put a smile on people’s faces; so I will bring happiness to unhappy and joy to the sad; so I can give the light of eternal life to the hopeless and share Your love with the loveless, so I may bring the warmth of Your love to the cold hearts and do it all in Your Holy name. Amen. ROMANS: 8: 18- 25 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that h the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. 5: 1- 5 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we a have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. 14
And we b boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. PRAYER FOR THE SICK Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy Look, beneficent Lord, with mercy upon us, who worship and glorify your holy name. Lord of hosts, grant peace to our souls from all the provocations of Satan and the distractions of the world. Send your angel of peace to us, that he may keep us safe by day and by night, awake and asleep, so that we may piously and worthily serve you Lord in this life and arrive at your heavenly eternal kingdom, which you have prepared from the beginning of the world for your saints. And may we glorify the Father, Son and Holy Spirit with them, giving thanks, now and always and unto the ages of ages. Blessed is our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen: LITANY By the Holy Cross let us beseech the Lord, that through it he may deliver us from our sins and save us by the grace of his mercy. Almighty Lord our God, save us and have mercy upon us.
