Օրհնութեան ծառն իր պտուղներով, Եւ բարունակն իր բարիքներով: Եւ որպէսզի, չլինի թէ բոլորն ասելով` ամբողջն աչքաթող անեմ, Ինչպէս արեւին նայելիս կայլայլուի աչքն ու կտկարանայ, Պէտք է որ լռեմ ես շատն ասելուց եւ քչին հասնեմ, Բաւականանալով ամէն ապիկար իմ կարողութեամբ: Գ Բայց աւա՜ղ յաւէտ այստեղ իմ թշուառ, եղկելի հոգուն, Քանզի խօսքիս կարգն ստիպում է ինձ Աւետաւոր ձայնի հետ խառնել ե՛ւ գուժկան բողոք. Քանի որ սրանց հետ եւ սրանց առընթեր Կան` արդարութիւնն իր կշիռներով, Վճիռն իր հատուցումներով, Քննութիւնն իր լոյսով, Հանդիմանութիւնն իր լապտերներով, Մերկութիւնն իր պատկառանքներով, Յայտնութիւնն իր ամօթով, Անբիծն իր վաստակներով Եւ սխալուածն իր պատիժներով: Դ Դարձեա՛լ եւ դարձեալ ողբ ինձ կրկնապէս, թշուառ եղկելուս, Քանզի անհնար բարկութեամբ, ահա, Գալիս է, հասնում հասակիս հասկին մանգաղը նրան հնձելու համար. Դատաւորն` ատեանի, եւ հզօրը բեմի համար, Սպառնացողը կորուստի մատնելու, բազուկը` դատաստան տեսնելու, Պատժիչ գաւազանն` հարուածելու, սպառազինումը` վրէժխնդրութեան, 4
Եւ հովիւն ընտրութիւն անելու համար: Եւ քանզի վերջին օրը հատուցման դատի պիտի ինձ դատապարտեալիս Քո այն խօսքը, որ դու ինձ ասացիր, Կանխի՛ր այն, բարեգութ, նախընծաքո քաղցրութեամբ, Եւ ինձ, որ վարանական երկիւղով հեծում եմ նուաղաձայն, Զօրացրո՛ւ վերջին տագնապման ժամիս քո օրհնեալ ձեռքով, Առաջին օգնութեամբ մխիթարելով, բժշկելով, քաւելով, եւ կենդանի պահելով: Եւ քեզ փա՜ռք ամէն ինչի մէջ, յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. ամէն: ԱՂՕԹՔ Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա: Սորվեցո՛ւր մեզի, ո՜վ Տէր, որ տեսնենք եւ օգտագործենք ծառայութեան ամէն պատեհութիւն. տանք՝ առանց փոխարժէքը հաշուելու, պայքարինք՝ առանց վիրաւորուելու, աշխատինք՝ առանց հանգիստ փնտռելու, ծառայենք՝ առանց վարձատրութիւն ակնկալելու. այն գիտակցութեամբ՝ թէ Քու կա՛մքդ է որ կը կատարենք: Ամէն: ՊԵՏՐՈՍ ԱՌԱՔԵԱԼԻ ԵՐԿՐՈՐԴ ՆԱՄԱԿԷՆ 1: 1- 15 Սիմոն Պետրոս, ծառայ եւ առաքեալ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի, անոնց՝ որոնց վիճակուած է նոյն պատուական հաւատքը մեզի հետ, Աստուծոյ ու մեր Փրկիչ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի արդարութեամբ. շնորհք եւ խաղաղութիւն թող շատնան ձեր վրայ Աստուծոյ եւ մեր Տէրոջ՝ Յիսուսի ճանաչումով: Արդարեւ իր աստուածային զօրութիւնը պարգեւեց մեզի ամէն ինչ՝ որ կը 5
վերաբերի կեանքի ու բարեպաշտութեան, ճանչցնելով ա՛ն՝ որ կանչեց մեզ փառքի եւ առաքինութեան: Ասոնցմով ամենամեծ ու պատուական խոստումներ պարգեւուած են մեզի, որպէսզի անոնցմով հաղորդակցիք աստուածային բնութեան՝ փախչելով ապականութենէն, որ ցանկութենէն յառաջացած է աշխարհի մէջ: Ասոր համար ալ՝ ամբողջ փութաջանութեամբ աւելցուցէ՛ք ձեր հաւատքին վրայ առաքինութիւն, առաքինութեան վրայ՝ գիտութիւն, գիտութեան վրայ՝ ժուժկալութիւն, ժուժկալութեան վրայ՝ համբերութիւն, համբերութեան վրայ՝ բարեպաշտութիւն, բարեպաշտութեան վրայ՝ եղբայրսիրութիւն, ու եղբայրսիրութեան վրայ՝ սէր: Որովհետեւ եթէ այս բաները ըլլան ձեր մէջ եւ աւելնան, անգործ ու անպտուղ չեն ըներ ձեզ մեր Տէրոջ՝ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի ճանաչումով: Բայց ա՛ն՝ որուն մէջ այս բաները չկան՝ կոյր է, կարճատես, եւ մոռցած է իր հին մեղքերէն մաքրուած ըլլալը: Ուստի, եղբայրնե՛ր, առաւելապէս ջանացէ՛ք՝ որ հաստատէք ձեր կոչումն ու ընտրութիւնը, որովհետեւ ասիկա ընելով՝ բնա՛ւ պիտի չսայթաքիք. արդարեւ ա՛յսպէս է որ ճոխութեամբ պիտի հայթայթուի ձեզի մեր Տէրոջ ու Փրկիչին՝ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի յաւիտենական թագաւորութեան մուտքը: Ուստի երբեք անհոգ պիտի չըլլամ միշտ յիշեցնելու ձեզի այս բաները, թէպէտ գիտէք եւ ամրացած էք ներկայ ճշմարտութեան մէջ: Իրաւացի կը համարեմ, այնքան ատեն որ այս մարմինին մէջ եմ, յիշեցնելով ձեզ արթուն պահել, գիտնալով թէ շուտով պիտի լքեմ այս մարմինս, ինչպէս մեր Տէրը՝ Յիսուս Քրիստոս բացայայտեց ինծի: Ուստի պիտի ջանամ որ միշտ յիշէք այս բաները՝ այս աշխարհէն մեկնելէս ետքն ալ: ՔԱՐՈԶ Վասն հիւանդաց եւ ամենայն վշտացելոց աղաչեսցուք զՓրկիչն մեր Քրիստոս, զի ողորմեսցի ըստ մեծի ողորմութեան Իւրում եւ բժշկեսցէ զախտս եւ զհիւանդութիւնս հոգւոց եւ 6
մարմնոց ծառայից Իւրոց եւ կատարեալ առողջութեամբ հասուսցէ զամենեսեան ի մշտնջենաւոր եւ յանախտ կեանս: Որ առաքեցաւ ի Հօրէ ի բժշկութիւն ազգի մարդկան Միածին Որդին Աստուծոյ՝ Տէր մեր եւ Փրկիչ Յիսուս Քրիստոս. կեցո՛ եւ ողորմեա՛: ԲԺՇԿՈՒԹԵԱՆ ԱՂՕԹՔ Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա: Փարատէ՛ ցաւերը եւ բժշկէ՛ հիւանդութիւնները քու ժողովուրդէդ, Տէր Աստուած մեր եւ բոլորին կատարեալ առողջութի՛ւն շնորհէ` Քու ամենայաղթ խաչիդ նշանով, որուն միջոցով մարդկութեան տկարութիւնը վերցուցիր եւ դատապարտեցիր մեր կեանքի եւ փրկութեան թշնամին: Դուն ես մեր կեանքն ու փրկութիւնը, բարերար եւ բազումողորմ Աստուած. միայն Դո՛ւ կրնաս ներել մեր մեղքերը եւ մեզմէ հեռացնել ախտերն ու հիւանդութիւնները. Քեզի յայտնի են մեր կարիքները: Բարիքներ պարգեւող, առատ ողորմութիւնդ պարգեւէ՛ քու արարածներուդ՝ իւրաքանչիւրին ըստ իր պէտքին, որովհետեւ արարածներուդ միջոցով միշտ կը գովաբանուի Ամենասուրբ Երրորդութիւնդ. Այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. ամէն: ՔԱՐՈԶ Սուրբ խաչիւս աղաչեսցուք զՏէր, զի սովաւ փրկեսցէ զմեզ ի մեղաց եւ կեցուսցէ շնորհիւ ողորմութեան իւրոյ: Ամենակալ Տէր Աստուած մեր, կեցուսցէ՛ եւ ողորմեսցի: 7

READING: FROM MADYAN VOGHPERKOUTYAN (NAREG) Prayer 38 Speaking with God from the Depths of the Heart A Now, as I wrote in the beginning of this work, about the dark origins of the cardinal sins and the workings of the bodily organs, by which I am dominated, human heir of death, here, in this prayer, I recount, even if it is a drop taken from the limitless expanse of the sea, a few aspects of the spiritual life that liberate those born in the light through our Lord Jesus. their stores of grace, filled to the brim with kindness and wealth, the king and his loving subjects, the emperor and his nobles, the crowned and their princes, the famous and his good report, the victor and his trumpets, the general and his troops, the hero and his glory, the groom and his revelers, the queen and her maids, the lady in waiting and her retinue, freedom and its benefits, the visitation and its outstretched hand, the promise and its atonement, the protection and its right hand, the gifts and their wrapping, the seal of life and its indelibility, the soul and its imprint, the cloud and its shadow, art and its miracles, the spirit and its immortality, the word and its perfection, the taking of the oath and its fulfillment, the force and its order, the baptismal font and its miraculous work, manna and its incorruptibility, the living rock and its stream, the pillar of fire and its rays, thunder and its echo, hope and its salvation, the tree of blessings and its fruit, the bough and its bounty. 11
And so that I shall not err by saying this, I note my omissions, for as the eyes are blinded when looking at the sun, I have averted my attention from the greatest and presented the lesser points that are within my meager ability. C I apologize for my always miserable, wretched soul, because my composition mixes the voice of good news with mournful protests, bringing justice and judgment, decision and penalty, investigation and spotlights, scolding and torches, nakedness and embarrassment, revelation and shame, innocence and reward, error and punishment. D Again and again, I flinch doubly misfortunate and wretched, for unbearable anger is coming with a sickle to harvest my ripened sheaves of grain, a judge for the court, a strongman for the tribunal, an executioner for execution, an arm to carry out the judgment, a rod to reprimand, armor for revenge, a shepherd for sorting the flock, for the words you said to me, 12
shall judge me, the condemned, on the last day of judgment. Hurry, merciful Lord, with your sweet acceptance, attend the faint sighs of my cowardly wavering with the great strength of your blessed hand. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins. Therefore, my brothers and sisters, a make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have. I think it is right to refresh your memory as long as I live in the tent of this body, because I know that I will soon put it aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me. And I will make every effort to see that after my departure you will always be able to remember these things. PRAYER FOR THE SICK Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy " O beneficent and ab undantly merciful God, through thine unforgetting knowledge and infinite love of men be mindful of all that believe in thee and have mercy on all. Help us and deliver us from our several perils and trials. Make us worthy to give thee thanks and to glorify thee, the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit, now and always and unto the ages of ages.
