Եւ ինձ ապագայ կասկածանքների երկիւղից փրկի՛ր, Կարող զօրութեամբդ ինձ ազատելով մեղքի պարտքերից, Քանզի քո անբաւ մեծութեամբ եւ իմաստութեամբ անհուն` Հնարաւոր է քեզ մօտ ամէն ինչ: Բ Եւ քանզի հեռուից տեսնելով հոգուս աչքերով ահա Ահաւորափայլ հանդէսը քո հանդերձեալ դատաստանի, Նկատում եմ ես արդէն կանխապէս Ցերեկը լուսաւոր ու յուսալից` սրբերի համար, Եւ օրը խաւար` պատժապարտիս պատուհասի համար 2
Ուստի եւ չկայ ոչինչ, որ լինի փախուստիս համար ապաստանարան. Ո՛չ անդունդները խորունկ եւ ո՛չ վիհերն անտակ, Ո՛չ լեռները բարձրաբերձ եւ ո՛չ քարանձաւները, Ո՛չ ժայռերը կարծրակուռ, ո՛չ էլ ծործոր ու ծերպ, Ո՛չ փապարները փոսաւոր եւ ո՛չ հոսանքը հեղեղների, Ո՛չ բաւիղները խորշերի, ո՛չ շտեմարանները յարկերի, Ո՛չ թաքստոցները սենեակների, ո՛չ էլ ծմակները հովիտների, Ո՛չ ծործորները դժվարանց, ո՛չ բլուրները բազմակուտակ. Ո՛չ քամիները մեծաշունչ, եւ ո՛չ ծովերն անծայր, Ո՛չ հորձանքները սահանքների, եւ ո՛չ ափերը հեռաւոր, Ո՛չ ողբերի ձայները եւ ո՛չ հեղեղներն արցունքի, Ո՛չ շարժումը մատների, ո՛չ ձեռքերը վերամբարձ Եւ ոչ էլ պաղատանքը շրթունքների: Այս բոլորից` սաստկագոյն եւ անճողոպրելի` Դո՛ւ միայն, Քրիստոս, կարող ես փրկել բազմամեղ հոգիս Քո անդորրութեամբ եւ քո դիւրութեամբ ամենահնար: Գ Ուստի եւ նայի՛ր ինձ շրջապատող վտանգներին անզերծանելի, Դո՛ւ միայն քաղցրդ բոլորի հանդէպ. Կենազէն խաչիդ յաղթական սրով կտրատի՛ր բոլոր ցանցերը վարմիս, Որոնք ամէնուստ պաշարել են ինձ մահու գերեալիս, Տո՛ւր հանգստութիւն սասանեալ ոտքին թիւր ընթացողիս. Բուժի՛ր հրատապ ջերմին տոչորումն մղձկեալ սրտիս, Մերժի՛ր դիւային եւ չարահնար շշուկները իմ` քեզ պարտաւորիս. Հալածի՛ր անյոյս մթութիւնն հոգու` չարին կենակցիս. Ցրի՛ր ծխամած թանձրութիւնները բռնաւոր մեղքերիս. Կորցրո՛ւ ապական ցանկութիւնները զազիր կրքերիս. 3
Նորոգի՛ր մեծիդ անուան պաշտելի փառքի լուսեղէն պատկերն ի հոգիս. Զօրացրո՛ւ շնորհիդ փայլը շողշողուն որպէս շուք դէմքիս, Մտատեսութեան ընդունակութիւն տուր հողեղէնիս, Հարմար յօրինմամբ վերայարդարիր, որ տեսնի քեզ պարզ` Լուսազարդ մաքրութեամբ զտելով մռայլը մեղաւորիս, Աստուածային կենդանի, անեղծ, երկնաւոր լոյսովդ ծածկելով երեք պատկերներն անձիս: Զի դու ես միայն օրհնեալ հօրդ հետ ի գովեստ սուրբ Հոգուդ Յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. ամէն: ԱՂՕԹՔ Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա:
Տէր Յիսուս,Դո՛ւն ես յոյսը, Դո՛ւն ես լոյսը, Դո՛ւն ես կեանքը, Դո՛ւն ես քաւաութիւնը, Դուն ի՛նքդ անմահութիւնն ես: Սփոփէ՛ մեր տարակոյսները Քու փրկագործութեամբդ եւ հանդարտեցո՛ւր մեր խռովութիւնները Քու խաղաղութեամբդ: Արժանացո՛ւր մեզ՝ Քեզի պատկանողներս, փառաւորելու Քեզ, Հօրը եւ Սուրբ Հոգիին հետ միասին՝ յաւիտեանս: Ամէն: ՅԱԿՈՎԲՈՍ ԱՌԱՔԵԱԼԻ ԸՆԴՀԱՆՐԱԿԱՆ ՆԱՄԱԿԷՆ 2: 14- 26 Ի՞նչ օգուտ ունի, եղբայրնե՛րս, եթէ մէկը ըսէ թէ հաւատք ունի սակայն գործեր չունենայ. միթէ հաւատքը կրնա՞յ փրկել զինք: Եթէ եղբայր մը կամ քոյր մը մերկ ըլլայ եւ օրուան կերակուրին կարօտ, ու ձեզմէ մէկը ըսէ անոնց. «Գացէ՛ք խաղաղութեամբ, տաքցէ՛ք եւ կշտացէ՛ք», բայց մարմինին հարկաւոր բաները չտայ անոնց, ի՞նչ օգուտ ունի: Ա՛յդպէս ալ հաւատքը՝ եթէ գործեր չունենայ իրեն հետ՝ մեռած է ինքնիր մէջ: Նոյնիսկ մէկը կրնայ ըսել. «Դուն հաւա՛տք ունիս, ես ալ գործե՛ր ունիմ. ցո՛յց տուր ինծի քու հաւատքդ՝ առանց գործերու, 4
իսկ ես ցոյց պիտի տամ քեզի իմ հաւատքս՝ գործերո՛վս”: Դուն կը հաւատաս թէ Աստուած մէկ է. լա՛ւ կ՚ընես: Դեւե՛րն ալ կը հաւատան ու կը սարսռան: Բայց կ՚ուզե՞ս գիտնալ, ո՛վ սնոտի մարդ, թէ հաւատքը մեռած է առանց գործերու: Աբրահամ՝ մեր հայրը՝ գործերով չարդարացա՞ւ, երբ իր որդին՝ Իսահակը մատուցանեց զոհասեղանին վրայ: Կը տեսնե՞ս թէ հաւատքը գործակից եղաւ անոր գործերուն, ու գործերո՛վ հաւատքը կատարեալ եղաւ, եւ իրագործուեցաւ Գիրքին խօսքը՝ որ կ՚ըսէ. «Աբրահամ հաւատաց Աստուծոյ, ու ատիկա արդարութիւն սեպուեցաւ անոր, եւ ինք Աստուծոյ բարեկամ կոչուեցաւ»: Կը նկատէ՞ք թէ մարդ կ՚արդարանայ գործերո՛վ, ու ո՛չ թէ՝ միայն հաւատքով: Նմանապէս Ռախաբ պոռնիկն ալ չարդարացա՞ւ գործերով, երբ ընդունեց պատգամաւորները եւ ուրիշ ճամբայով ուղարկեց զանոնք: Արդարեւ ինչպէս մարմինը մեռած է առանց հոգիի, այդպէս ալ հաւատքը մեռած է առանց գործերու: ՔԱՐՈԶ Վասն հիւանդաց եւ ամենայն վշտացելոց աղաչեսցուք զՓրկիչն մեր Քրիստոս, զի ողորմեսցի ըստ մեծի ողորմութեան Իւրում եւ բժշկեսցէ զախտս եւ զհիւանդութիւնս հոգւոց եւ մարմնոց ծառայից Իւրոց եւ կատարեալ առողջութեամբ հասուսցէ զամենեսեան ի մշտնջենաւոր եւ յանախտ կեանս: Որ առաքեցաւ ի Հօրէ ի բժշկութիւն ազգի մարդկան Միածին Որդին Աստուծոյ՝ Տէր մեր եւ Փրկիչ Յիսուս Քրիստոս. կեցո՛ եւ ողորմեա՛: ԲԺՇԿՈՒԹԵԱՆ ԱՂՕԹՔ Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա: Փարատէ՛ ցաւերը եւ բժշկէ՛ հիւանդութիւնները քու ժողովուրդէդ, Տէր Աստուած մեր 5
եւ բոլորին կատարեալ առողջութի՛ւն շնորհէ` Քու ամենայաղթ խաչիդ նշանով, որուն միջոցով մարդկութեան տկարութիւնը վերցուցիր եւ դատապարտեցիր մեր կեանքի եւ փրկութեան թշնամին: Դուն ես մեր կեանքն ու փրկութիւնը, բարերար եւ բազումողորմ Աստուած. միայն Դո՛ւ կրնաս ներել մեր մեղքերը եւ մեզմէ հեռացնել ախտերն ու հիւանդութիւնները. Քեզի յայտնի են մեր կարիքները: Բարիքներ պարգեւող, առատ ողորմութիւնդ պարգեւէ՛ քու արարածներուդ՝ իւրաքանչիւրին ըստ իր պէտքին, որովհետեւ արարածներուդ միջոցով միշտ կը գովաբանուի Ամենասուրբ Երրորդութիւնդ. Այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. ամէն: ՔԱՐՈԶ Սուրբ խաչիւս աղաչեսցուք զՏէր, զի սովաւ փրկեսցէ զմեզ ի մեղաց եւ կեցուսցէ շնորհիւ ողորմութեան իւրոյ: Ամենակալ Տէր Աստուած մեր, կեցուսցէ՛ եւ ողորմեսցի: ՊԱՀՊԱՆՈՒԹԵԱՆ ԱՂՕԹՔ Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա: Պահպանիչ եւ հաւատացեալներու յոյս, Քրիստոս Աստուած մեր, պահէ պահպանէ եւ օրհնէ Հայոց ազգը եւ Հայաստանեայց Եկեղեցին. Քու Սուրբ եւ պատուական Խաչիդ հովանիին ներքեւ, խաղաղութեան մէջ. փրկէ եւ ազատէ երեւելի եւ աներեւոյթ թշնամիներէն, արժանաւորէ գոհութեամբ փառաւորենք Քեզ ընդ Հօր եւ Սուրբ Հոգւոյն. 6

Save me with your strength, ridding me of my sins. For you are capable of all things and are the key to all things with your boundless greatness and infinite wisdom. B And seeing with my mind’s eye in the distance the terrible vision of the life to come, I observe in advance the day of light, the hope of the saints, and the day of darkness, the punishment of the sinful, from which none can escape nor find refuge, 8
neither in the deep abyss nor in the bottomless pits, neither on the heights of the mountains, nor in the caves in the stone, neither on the hardness of boulders, nor in the cavity of a hole, neither in the crevices of a pit, nor the waves of a flood, neither in the labyrinth of the basement, nor the loft of the attic, neither behind the closed doors of my cell, nor in the darkness of the valley, neither in the declines of the valleys, nor on the inclines of the hills, neither in the blowing of the wind, nor in the undulation of the seas, neither in the swirling of a whirlpool, nor in the distant ends of the earth, neither in the sounds of lament, nor in the sighs of weeping, neither in the trembling of fingers, nor in the lifting of hands, neither in the prayers of the lips, nor in the cries of the tongue. Please steady my shaky feet on the crooked path and heal the burning fever of my anguished heart. Turn away the demonic whisper of temptation to sin against you. Drive away the despair of my dark soul that dwells with evil. Dispel the thick smoke of sin that has infused and obscured me. Destroy the vile dark passions of my base needs. Renew the image of light revered by the glory of your mighty name, my soul. Fix your glowing grace upon my face and the perception of my mind, an earthbound creature. And cleanse my squalid sinfulness with your purity so that you might restore and reveal your image in me. With your divine, living, uncorrupted and heavenly light that envelopes your three persons. For you alone are blessed with the Father and Holy Spirit forever and ever. Amen. PRAYER Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. Please comfort our doubts with Your salvation and calm our worries with Your peace. JAMES: 2: 14- 26 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a 10
brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” e and he was called God’s friend. You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone. In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. PRAYER FOR THE SICK Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy " O beneficent and ab undantly merciful God, through thine unforgetting knowledge and infinite love of men be mindful of all that believe in thee and have mercy on all. Help us and deliver us from our several perils and trials. Make us worthy to give thee thanks and to glorify thee, the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit, now and always and unto the ages of ages.
