Ո՛րքան աւելի պիտի ուզենաս կարեկցել եւ այժմ ինձ, տառապալից տագնապահարիս, Ազգակցիդ մեզ` մեզնից մարմնացեալ, Մեղապարտիս հետ միշտ աղօթելով Հօրդ համապատիւ: Բ Եւ պատուական արեանդ միջնորդութեամբ, Որ մատուցւում է միշտ առաքչիդ կամքին ի հաճութիւն` Թող վերացուեն վտանգները մեղաւոր դատապարտեալիս, Պարտքերը զիջուեն, ամօթը փարատուի, Մոռացուեն խայտառակութիւններն ու դատավճիռն ի բարին փոխուի, Սատակեն որդերն, ու լացը վերանայ, Դադարի կրճտումն ատամների թող, Ողբերն սպառուեն, Արտասուքները ցամաքեն թող որ, սուգը հեռանայ, Խաւարն հալածուի, ու հուրը սաստիկ մարի, մոխրանայ, Եւ բազմապիսի տանջարաններն ի բաց մերժուեն: Գ Եւ թող բոլորին կեանք կամեցողիդ ու պարգեւողիդ գթութի՜ւնը գայ, Թող լոյսդ ծագի, փրկութիւնդ փութայ, օգնութիւնդ հասնի, Այցելութիւնդ ժամանի, եւ ողորմութեանդ ցողը կանխահաս Թող որ շտապի` յոյժ թշուառութեամբ մահուան վիհն ընկած Իմ ոսկորների պապակ անդաստանը ոռոգելու: Կենարար արեանդ բաժակն երկնաւոր, որ պատարագւում է միշտ, անսպառ Յանուն ննջեցեալների հոգու փրկութեան եւ կենաց, Թող ծաղկեցնի եւ պտղաբերի լուսաւոր օրուանդ համար մշակուած դաշտն իմ մարմնեղէն, Որպէսզի նրա մեղքով իսպառ մահացած հոգիս, 3
Քո շնորհիւ, գթա՜ծ, քո մէջ զօրացած, Եւ մեղքերից ազատ, անմահ կենդանութեամբ Նորոգուեմ արդարների յարութեան օրը` Հօրիցդ օրհնուած, Որի հետ փառք քեզ եւ քո սուրբ Հոգուն Եւ բարեբանութիւն վայելչական գոհութեամբ, Այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. ամէն: ԱՂՕԹՔ Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա: Օրհնեալ ես, Տէր Աստուած Փրկիչ մեր, որ միշտ մեզի հետ ես, եւ բնաւ երբեք ձեռքէդ չես թողուր զանոնք, որոնք հաւատքով եւ ճշմարտութիւնով Քեզի կը կանչեն: Կ'աղաչենք եւ կը խնդրենք Քեզմէ, Տէր, խաղաղութեան մէջ պահելով` Քու վերատեսչութեամբդ ուղեկից եղիր ծառաներուդ եւ առաջնորդէ մեզի` իւրաքանչիւրիս, խաղաղութեամբ եւ ուրախութեամբ վերստին հասնիլ մեր բնակարանները` մեր Տիրոջ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի Քով, Որուն կը վայելէ փառք, պատիւ եւ իշխանութիւն, այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. Ամէն: ՂՈՒԿԱՍԻ ԱՒԵՏԱՐԱՆԷՆ 9.27-36 Բայց ճշմա՛րտապէս կը յայտարարեմ ձեզի. “Հոս կայնողներէն կան ոմանք՝ որ մահ պիտի չհամտեսեն, մինչեւ որ տեսնեն Աստուծոյ թագաւորութիւնը”»: Այս խօսքերէն գրեթէ ութ օր ետք՝ առնելով Պետրոսը, Յովհաննէսն ու Յակոբոսը՝ լեռը ելաւ աղօթելու: Մինչ կ՚աղօթէր, իր երեսին տեսքը փոխուեցաւ, եւ իր պատմուճանը ճերմակ ու փայլուն եղաւ: Եւ ահա՛ երկու մարդիկ կը խօսակցէին իրեն հետ. անոնք֊ Մովսէսն ու Եղիան, փառքով երեւցած, եւ կը խօսէին անոր այս կեանքէն մեկնումին մասին, որ պիտի 4
իրագործուէր Երուսաղէմի մէջ: Պետրոս ու անոր հետ եղողները քունով ծանրացած էին. երբ արթնցան, տեսան անոր փառքը եւ այդ երկու մարդիկը՝ որ անոր քով կեցած էին: Երբ անոնք զատուեցան անոր քովէն, Պետրոս ըսաւ Յիսուսի. «Վարդապե՛տ, լաւ է որ կենանք հոս եւ շինենք երեք վրան, մէկը՝ քեզի, մէկը՝ Մովսէսի ու մէկը՝ Եղիայի». որովհետեւ չէր գիտեր թէ ի՛նչ կը խօսէր: Մինչ այսպէս կը խօսէր, ամպ մը եկաւ եւ հովանի եղաւ անոնց վրայ. ու երբ անոնք ամպին տակ մտան՝ վախցան: Ձայն մը եկաւ ամպէն՝ ըսելով. «Ա՛յս է իմ սիրելի Որդիս, անո՛ր մտիկ ըրէք»: Երբ լսեցին այդ ձայնը՝ Յիսուս մինակ մնաց: Իրենք ալ լուռ կեցան, եւ այդ օրերը ո՛չ մէկուն բան մը պատմեցին իրենց տեսածներէն: ԲԺՇԿՈՒԹԵԱՆ ԱՂՕԹՔ Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա: Փարատէ՛ ցաւերը եւ բժշկէ՛ հիւանդութիւնները քու ժողովուրդէդ, Տէր Աստուած մեր եւ բոլորին կատարեալ առողջութի՛ւն շնորհէ` Քու ամենայաղթ խաչիդ նշանով, որուն միջոցով մարդկութեան տկարութիւնը վերցուցիր եւ դատապարտեցիր մեր կեանքի եւ փրկութեան թշնամին: Դուն ես մեր կեանքն ու փրկութիւնը, բարերար եւ բազումողորմ Աստուած. միայն Դո՛ւ կրնաս ներել մեր մեղքերը եւ մեզմէ հեռացնել ախտերն ու հիւանդութիւնները. Քեզի յայտնի են մեր կարիքները: Բարիքներ պարգեւող, առատ ողորմութիւնդ պարգեւէ՛ քու արարածներուդ՝ իւրաքանչիւրին ըստ իր պէտքին, որովհետեւ արարածներուդ միջոցով միշտ կը գովաբանուի Ամենասուրբ Երրորդութիւնդ. Այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. ամէն: 5
ՔԱՐՈԶ Սուրբ Խաչով Տիրոջը աղաչենք, որպէսզի սրանով փրկէ մեզ մեղքերէն եւ Իր ողորմութեան շնորհով պահէ մեզ: Ամենակալ Տէր Աստուած մեր, ապրեցու՛ր եւ ողորմէ՛: ՊԱՀՊԱՆՈՒԹԵԱՆ ԱՂՕԹՔ Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա: Պահպանիչ եւ հաւատացեալներու յոյս, Քրիստոս Աստուած մեր, պահէ պահպանէ եւ օրհնէ Հայոց ազգը եւ Հայաստանեայց Եկեղեցին. the meanderings of my wretched, errant voice with your own mighty words. Help me to polish a pleasing prayer, to bring before your Father on high. You who took on my likeness submitting for my sake to trial and condemnation, take pity on me. You who bless all life, God of Goodness, who provide all things above and below, who were willing to die for me, God and lord of all, who have borne the pangs of mortal flesh, take pity on me, for I am wracked with pain. Take pity on me, stay with me, a wretched sinner, and pray with me to your Father, your equal in glory. B By your noble and glorious blood, offered unceasingly to please God who sent you, may the dangers be lifted from me, the condemned, may my transgressions be forgiven, may my vices be pardoned, may my shamelessness be forgotten, may my sentence be commuted, may the worms shrivel, may the wailing stop, and the gnashing of teeth fall silent1 Let the laments lessen and tears dry. May the vengeful fire be tamped out and torments of every kind be exiled. C May you who grant life to all be compassionate now. Let your light dawn, your salvation be swift, your help come in time, and the hour of your arrival be at hand. May the dew of your mercy quench the parched field where my bones have fallen into the pit of death. Prepare the earth for the day of light and let the soil bloom and bring forth fruit, heavenly cup of life-giving blood, ever sacrificed, never running dry all for the salvation and life of the souls in eternal rest. And though my body die in sin, with your grace and compassion, may I be strengthened in you, cleansed of sin through you, and renewed by you with life everlasting, and at the resurrection of the righteous be deemed worthy of your Father’s blessing. GOSPEL ACCORDING TO LUKE: 9.27-36 “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God.” About eight days after Jesus said this, he took Peter, John and James with him and went up onto a mountain to pray. As he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became as bright as a flash of lightning. Two men, Moses and Elijah, appeared in glorious splendor, talking with Jesus. They spoke about his departure, a which he was about to bring to fulfillment at Jerusalem. Peter and his companions were very sleepy, but when they became fully awake, they saw his glory and the two men standing with him. As the men were leaving Jesus, Peter said to him, “Master, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.” (He did not know what he was saying.) While he was speaking, a cloud appeared and covered them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud. A voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him.” When the voice had spoken, they found that Jesus was alone. The disciples kept this to themselves and did not tell anyone at that time what they had seen. PRAYER FOR THE SICK Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy Dispel the pain and heal the sickness of thy people, Lord our God and grant to all perfect health by the sign of thine all-conquering cross through which thou removed the weakness of mankind and 11
condemned the enemy of our life and salvation. Thou art our life and salvation, beneficent and all merciful God, who alone can forgive us our sins and remove diseases and sickness from us, to whom are known our needs and necessities. Bestower of gifts, grant thy bounteous mercy to thy creatures according to their individual needs, through whom thy Holy Trinity is always glorified and praised, now and always and forever and ever. Amen. LITANY By the Holy Cross let us beseech the Lord, that through it he may deliver us from our sins and save us by the grace of his mercy. Almighty Lord our God, save us and have mercy upon us.
