Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is an influential industry which has significant impact on business and society around the world. It is also an industry that relies heavily on research and development (R&D) for its advancement and progress. As part of the Toronto Region Research Alliance’s (TRRA) mission to promote increased investment in research and innovation, the Regional Innovation Cluster series of reports aim to highlight strengths of key research-intensive sectors in which the Toronto Region has particular advantages. ICT is a prominent sector in the region.
