Tory Schalkle
His experience includes: Advising chief executive officers and other senior executives. Coordinating enterprise-wide strategy initiatives. Launching an internal analytics endeavor. Managing a team of 10 employees. Increasing a company's yearly sales by 13%. The firm has annual revenue of $300 million. He is now acting as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Strategy in his company. The work experience of Schalkle includes stints both in the office of a United States Senator and at a think tank. He also worked in the private sector. Before beginning his career in management and business strategy, he served in several capacities in the public sector. He continues to be very involved in his community, serving on the Park and Trail Board of the Wayzata City Council, assisting non-profit organizations that work with families who are struggling economically, and working with groups to enhance Minnesota's ability to keep its talented people here in the state. For instance, President Obama honored the first non-profit organization that J.R. Schalkle helped create by naming it one of the ten organizations he considers "Champions of Change." The other benefit he planned for a family (whose children were run over by a vehicle that was evading police) was featured on the front page of major Minnesota newspapers and the evening news of major Minnesota television stations. He did this for the family of children killed by a vehicle attempting to elude police. This occurred because the car driver ran over the youngsters trying to evade the authorities.
