Lisa Tossey

I currently serve as the assistant director of communications and outreach at Maryland Sea Grant and am pursing a doctoral degree in educational technology at the University of Delaware. I graduated with a master's degree in online journalism from the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism in May 2004. My work has been carried in over 25 publications, including The Baltimore Sun, The Miami Herald, The Kansas City Star, FOX News and Science Communication. I currently live in Ocean Pines, Md., where I spend my free time hiking, biking, beachcombing, kayaking, and riding with my husband, two dogs, and one very large horse.
