The flight into Bhutan offers dazzling scenic views of the Himalayas. On arrival at the airport, meet your Tour Manager who will assist you to transfer to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, for two nights stay.

Take a full day sightseeing tour of the valley and visit Changangkha

Day 2: Thimphu B L D

Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha B L D

Leave Thimphu valley and travel to Dochula pass at an altitude of 3140m, stopping en-route to visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress in Bhutan. Later visit Punakha’s Dzong and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Trongsa – Bumthang B L D

Travel to Bumthang and visit Wangdicholing, Jakar Dzong, Kurjey and Tamshing monasteries. Enjoy refreshments at the Swiss Farm House famous for it’s cheese and beer factory. Stay overnight at Bumthang.

Day 5: Bumthang – Punakha B L D

Explore the valley and travel to Punakha. Visit Punakha Dzong Fortress and Simtokha Dzong which now serves as a Buddhist university. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Punakha – Paro B L D

Travel to Paro and visit Drugyel Dzong, Ta-Dzong, famous tiger-nest monastry and explore local culture and history. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Paro Departure B

After breakfast the tour will finish with a transfer to the airport.

Day 6: Punakha – Paro B L D

Enjoy sightseeing around the Paro Valley and visit Ta Dzong which houses the National Museum, the ruins of Drugyel Dzong, the courtyard of 7th century Kichu Lhakhang and famous tiger-nest monastry. Stay two nights at the hotel.

Day 7: Paro B L D

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and explore the town and valley.

Day 8: Paro Departure B

After breakfast the tour finishes with a transfer to Paro Airport.
