How do we remember things that didn’t happen with us, and how these visually come to life in us? Does it make sense to take notes in the morning, and read dream-books, when we had nightmares at night? Can those dreams affect us to such an extent as the events we really experienced? In this series, I explore in my own dreamworld. I use the medium of photography to create my stories that happened at nights into the open world for all. During my research, I tried to find sources of my fears, phobias in my dreams, and I aim to overcome them by re-act these scenarios in concrete realms, using the process of creation as a therapy.

In what extent do our ancestor’s life-experiences happen to influence our present actions? How the childhood of our family members affects us, and how we relate to and process our own? What do we compare to, what comes to our mind first, and what are the events that will be photographed, and what won’t? What connections can we discover from a twenty-year perspective, and aware of these how we try to understand and repair the mechanism of this ‘closed system’? In my series, I am trying to find answers to these and analogous questions through my childhood memories and examining the interconnections in my family.

“That’s the spirit!” digital photography_2019
In this series, I examine the continually growing cases of pselism and their cause. Consequently, I screen the, sometimes banal procedures, which motivate the children during the therapy to start speaking again or at the end ‘healing up from their dirorder’, sometimes merely by the feeling of being loved and cared for.
