DESIGN EXPERIENCES

SUN GARDENS ZERO ENERGY COMPLEX 2016 Aalborg University Sustainable Design Project

ZEB residential complex, located in a postindustrial zone of Aalborg Centre. 52 apartments, offices + commertial and public functions on 14 000 m2. The complex is fulfilling the requiments of Danish Building Reglations 2020. Several simulation and analyses has been made for the most optional sustainable solutions, like site and population analysis, daylight and indoor climate simulations, ventilation and wind flow testing.

SUN GARDENS ZERO ENERGY COMPLEX 2016

The main design criterion was to recall the earlier garden culture of the area, in a new urban situation. 5 different types of flat, all of them has min. 25 m2 private outside area. The courtyard is in connection with a stream, here with artifical coastlining and bridges. The general form of the complex settles on a 5x5 meters grid, using the “LEGOmethod.

H A T L E H O L CHURCH COMPLEX 2015 Aalborg University Tectonic Design Project

Church and additional education and social buildings next to Ă…lesund in south-western Norway. Designed in team work using Integrated Design Process with a tectonic approach where the architectural program emerges acoustic and static performances.

H A T L E H O L CHURCH COMPLEX 2015

Project was started with a wide-spread researching work in themes of Nordic architecture, wooden constructions, acoustics and forms, tectonic design, user interfaces and mappings. The final design was formed by different simulations with the help of Pachyderm Acoustics, Karamba, Autodesk Robot.

H A T L E H O L CHURCH COMPLEX 2015

The basic design concept was based on the seperation of different function groups and connecting them with a corridor which allows visitors to get a close and intimate meeting with surrounding nature with all the senses. The used materials were norway spruce, larch and birch.

KEVE BOAT HOUSE C O M P L E X 2014 Ybl Miklรณs Faculty of Architecture, SZIE Bachelor Diploma work

Boat house and water school complex, situated at the Rรกckeve-branch of river Danube in Hungary. Parametric and prefab framework help to increase local crafts and contemporary connections, meanwhile accessible solutions are used with Universal Design approaches. Its location is a frequented place for professional water sports, where pros and amateurs can equally find a perfectly natural but still very calm environment.

KEVE BOAT HOUSE C O M P L E X 2014

The complex binds the dam and water like a bridge and avoids touching the riverside nature under it. Bended gluelaminated timber frames hold the ramp that and all the buildings with different educational and social functions.

KEVE BOAT HOUSE C O M P L E X 2014

Size modul (60 cm triangular grid) and used materials were inspired by classic “Kielboat sport kayaks: different kind of woods (ash, pine, linden), stainless steel and copper.
