ton, and Redmond. Throughout the year I would love our Division to grow and charter more clubs. So one of my goals for this year is to charter Woodinville into our division. I would also like for everyone to attend the monthly DCMs, Seattle rally, and have all of our clubs apply for awards and get Early Bird at DCON. I am really excited to meet everyone else and looking forward to a successful year! With Love and Service,

Farewell Dear Division 27, Has it really been a year since I was the innie working on my first newsletter?! It’s ridiculous how quickly my term has gone by and I would like to thank each and every person that has helped me on this journey. I have been enlightened to better myself as an individual in society. In the future, I hope to develop myself forever as a servant leader, humbly leading for the betterment of the world. From your year of serving this organization, I hope you will always keep in your heart and minds that lending a hand, no matter how insignificant you might think it is, truly makes a difference. It only takes a small group of caring individuals to create positive change for society. We have only two and a half months of school left so make the most out of your year, always making sure to be caring, inclusive and positive. Despite how easy it may be to slack on Key Club or other commitments, resist the temptation and just keep yourself going. Even after your year with Key Club is over, find other organizations which compel you and get involved with people who you are comfortable with. And with that, I bid adieu for you all as I am confident that Kristi will bring me and Division 27 pride as we underdogs take PNW District by storm. With Love and Service,

Connie Kim Immediate Past Lieutenant Governor, Division 27 Pacific Northwest District Key Club International conniewkim@gmail.com 206.354.4566 9

Last Minute Tips & Tricks! Don’t get so hung up on superficial problems. Yes, they may seem like a big problem at the moment but think ahead in your future. Will this problem REALLY be such a big deal then? Relax and drink lots of water! Also, try to get some of that Vitamin D! Be nice. “People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway. If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway. For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.” Mother Teresa
