Greetings Hello Division 27,

In This Issue...

I hope everyone had a great April. This is the season of spontaneous visits to the beach and iced Starbucks drinks. As the sunlight begins to flood our rooms and birds begin singing their songs, we are approaching the last few weeks of school. Hold on for a little more, and we’ll be done with the school year before you know it. With summer approaching, we’re given more time (and possibly even motivation) to go out and serve our communities. This newsletter will mainly provide you materials and information to transition club activity into the summer and plan the upcoming school year. Also, don’t forget about summer activities in the Pacific Northwest including Portland, Tacoma, and Seattle Rally. Good luck to those of you taking AP tests this next week! To the rest of you, I hope you enjoy the rare Seattle sun. Make sure to come out to this month’s DCM. I can’t wait to see your smiling faces soon. With Love and Service,

Greetings……………….…….2 Meet the Division……………3 Club Updates………………..4 The District Project……….….6 Eliminate Project Summer Plans….…………….8 Hey Seniors..………………….9 Kiwanis Information……….10 Key Dates………………...…11 Contact Information…..….12

Hey Seniors!

Middle school comes after Elementary School and High School after that, but what about after High School? All of us are given a choice: to choose a specific path for which we want to direct the rest of our future. However, this doesn’t mean that you should forget about your high school experiences either! You can continue your service through Kiwanis in CIRCLE K INTERNATIONAL (CKI), the college level of Key Club. Sponsored by Kiwanis International, CKI is the premier collegiate community service, leadership development, and fellowship organization in the world. It’s filled with energetic, passionate, and driven young adults who have the power to make a significant impact on the world. For more information, go to: www.circlek.org
