Island Life Backpackers Hostel

Imagine one place, different spaces, all with the same warmth and freedom. Sounds awesome right?

Located at Isabel La Catolica 365 in our beautiful Colonial Zone, Island Life Backpackers Hostel was designed for backpackers and is the perfect place for those wanting to feel at home out of home, with a nice “extra touch”.

When crossing the colonial-style door, you can feel how the environment changes in the blink of an eye. A wide wooden bar offers a variety of drinks and a snack menu prepared at the order moment with fresh products.

A wall-to-wall sofa invites you to relax. In front of it, wooden tables with metal legs and cushioned armchairs allow several groups to get together. You have access to books, magazines, and board games. Brown color swarm this first room creating a warm environment empowered with the intense color of the walls and select lighting.

On their wall you can see their awards from the Tourism Industry. They have four consecutive years receiving the HOSCAR WINNER BEST HOSTEL in the country. They have two friendly and beautiful dogs to share and play with, one is an enormous and lovely Great Dane called Schumacher, honoring the famous race-car driver Michael Schumacher. You can feel comfortable and safe around them.

Colorful hammocks and hanging chairs décor the green area. You can rest in their cozy rooms with air conditioner, hot water, cable and Wi-Fi. Breakfast is included and each room bear the name of a country. A unique quality of this space? Since the owner traveled for a long time observing what backpackers look for and need to stay in a place, they also have rooms ideal for them, some for up to 12 people, in case you are hanging out with your group and have the option to pay for bed, instead of room.

Island Life Hostel is a cozy place where you get to feel as comfortable and free as if you were at home, and the staff is friendly and joyful.

While it incites us to relax, it also invites us to walk by the streets of this zone full of life and magic, to visit the museums and art galleries, our parks, always vibing with our typical music, to visit bars and our long list of restaurants enjoying their delicious food and a fresh environment.
