While our specialist educational tours consultants can arrange for a best price airfares quote, please be aware that the lowest priced airfares may require full payment within a limited time period or be subject to other restrictions. More flexible airfares may be available at extra cost. When comparing quotes inclusive of airfares, we recommend requesting confirmation that the airfare is valid for your travel date, time of departure and group size. Derwent River “Disco” Cruise & Evening Transfer A great way to spend an evening in Hobart cruising the river enjoying music and dancing. Tahune AirWalk The Tahune AirWalk is an exhilarating environment-based experience set in the worldrenowned Tahune Forest Reserve. Jet Boat Rides Experience the thrills of Jet Boat Riding on this heart stopping combo of high speed slides and turns, 360° spins, power brake stops, wave riding and fish tails. Hollybank Treetop Adventure Flying along almost a kilometre of cable, guests are led by knowledgeable and highly-trained guides above the treetops and the Pipers River. The journey includes cable spans of between 15 metres and 400 metres, connected by tree platforms called 'cloud stations'. Bruny Island Cruise Travel to South Bruny Island for your cruise alongside some of Australia’s highest sea cliffs. Travel beneath towering crags, pass through the narrow gap between the coast and the Monument, and feel the power of nature at the point where the Tasman Sea meets the might of the Southern Ocean. You may spot sea life and coastal wildlife such as seals, dolphins and abundant bird life. Cascade Female Factory Historic Site Originally a distillery, the site has housed female convicts, the Contagious Diseases Hospital and Boys Reformatory. Bellerive Cricket Ground & Sports Museum The museum houses a display of cricket history and interactive exhibits. Gordon River Cruise (Atrium seats) The cruise takes you down the Gordon River to Hell’s Gate where the harbour meets the Great Southern Ocean. Devonport – Cradle Mountain National Park (L, D)
Morning arrival (breakfast not included) and transfer to Cradle Mountain National Park. This afternoon explore the park under the direction of teachers (return transfers to Dove Lake included). Overnight bunkhouse accommodation at Cradle Mountain.
Day 3 Cradle Mountain – Port Arthur (B, L, D) This morning visit Lake St Clair and Nelson Falls en route to Port Arthur. Check into your cabin accommodation before travelling to the historic site to join the guided Ghost Tour.
Day 4 Port Arthur – Hobart (B, L, D) After breakfast return to Port Arthur historic site for a guided walking tour followed by an afternoon transfer to Hobart including a brief city sights tour. Check into Motel accommodation.

Continue to Strahan via the Henty Hills Sand Dunes. Overnight bunkhouse accommodation in Strahan. This evening enjoy “The Ship That Never Was”, a live theatre production which tells the story of the Great Escape from Sarah Island.

Strahan – Hobart (B, L, D)
Following breakfast travel to the Gordon River for the Gordon River Cruise (atrium seats) including lunch and stops at “Hells Gate” and “Sarah Island” followed by an afternoon transfer via Queenstown and Derwent Bridge to Hobart (dinner en route). Motel accommodation in Hobart.
Day 4 Hobart (B, L, D) Travel to Cadbury’s Chocolate Factory for video presentation and visit the outlet shop. Drive up Mt Wellington (weather permitting) followed by free time at teachers discretion.

All prices in this brochure were correct on 01 October 2013. We will amend the price to reflect our costs at the time you request a quote. Pre-payable charges including airport charges, insurance levies and fuel surcharges are included in the total package price, subject to change. The tour price does not include the cost of travelling to or from departure and arrival ports, travel insurance, personal expenses and excess baggage charges. Requests for an individual to travel outside the group’s designated dates or destination will incur an additional charge of $55 per person plus any charges that our suppliers may make. Cancellations & Refunds A cancellation fee equal to 50% up to 100% of the deposit will apply until 30 days prior to departure (65 days for air, rail & sea sectors). Mandatory Booking Requirements We are not liable for any loss or expenses caused by your failure to comply with these requirements. Flight, rail and ferry reservations cannot be confirmed without passenger names. You must, at the time of booking, advise the correct names for all passengers including students and escorts. Name changes after tickets have been issued will result in the issue of new tickets and incur amendment charges, and may require a higher fare to be paid. G·E·T Educational Tours can accept no responsibility for any additional charges, or inability to travel as a result of incorrect notification of passenger names. Deposits & Payments A non refundable deposit is payable within 30 days of confirmation with final names lists required 30 days prior to departure. Full payment for air, rail and sea travel is required 65 days prior to travel. GST will be charged on the full payment. A deposit of $20 per student is required for itineraries valued at $200 or less, $50 per student for itineraries from $201 to $500 and

Travel Insurance We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for students & escorts. This should be valid for the full duration of your itinerary. Luggage When travelling by air free luggage allowances will be strictly enforced with excess baggage carried by airlines at their discretion and at passengers own expense. Note most full service airlines offer a 20kg free baggage allowance. Some low cost airlines may offer a lower allowance or levy an additional charge for baggage.
Law of Contract G•E•T Educational Tours and its suppliers, including airlines, do not accept liability in contract or in tort (actionable wrong) for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly, or indirectly by force majeure or other events beyond our control, or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on its part including, but not limited to, war, civil disturbance, fire, flood, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government or other authorities, accident to or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action (whether or not involving its employees and even though such action may be settled by acceding to the demands of a labour group). G•E•T Educational Tours cannot accept responsibility for subsequent changes or withdrawal of prices, details or services which are subject to change without notice.
