That’s 2021 almost finished! Where did the year go!

Welcome to the last edition of the e-Magazine for 2021.

Most of us are hoping with fingers crossed that Christmas and New Year will be more normal this year after many of us were placed in lockdown over the festive season in 2020.

With the new variant spreading rapidly it feels like a race against time to get to Christmas before Omicron shuts us all in again.

This new variant has yet again caused disruption to travel plans and hesitation by travellers about the risk of travelling anywhere for whatever reason and then a change in travel restrictions risks in being stuck in a destination, unable to return home.

We all believed if we got vaccinated we could be ‘free’ and able to travel again. That was a short lived freedom, with still pointless tests and endless forms causing huge stress before you even leave the front door.

Now with mandatory vaccines being implemented and non-vaccinated people being limited in many activities, our way of life is far from ‘normal’ and will remain so for some time to come, untill the new norm becomes ‘normal’.

However at this time of year, one thing still remains the same, our natural human desire to reach out to friends and family and to wish them the best of season’s greetings and hope for peace on earth and good will to all men, with the Blessing of Our Lord Jesus.
