“I REMEMBER MAMA” runs June 20-24 & June 27-July 1 This funny, touching, and endearing comedy tells the story of a Norwegian immigrant family in 1910. Mama and Papa raise their four children stretching each penny in the most creative ways! The extended Hanson clan, Mama’s sisters and her Uncle Chris, furnish this story with a rich background of eccentric loveable characters. But it is Mama, resourceful, incorruptible Mama that is remembered most.
Visit the brightest light in CanadaTM The Canadian Light Source is a national research facility, producing the brightest light in Canada – millions of times brighter than even the sun. One of the largest science projects in our country’s history, more than 1,000 scientists from around the world use our light every year to conduct ground-breaking health, agricultural, environmental and advanced materials research.
The Barn Playhouse creates a full event out on the farm. The yard opens at 5:30 pm with food booths, live old-tyme music and horse-drawn wagon rides in the pasture. The show begins at 7:30 pm. Sundays begin at noon with the show at 2:00 pm.
