Centre-Pieces: Tote-ally Creative Activities for Home In the spirit of fun, we are delighted to announce Centre-Pieces – a new program that encourages community creativity and imagination. Throughout this year, you’ll discover a seasonal collection of carefully curated packages that inspires your family to create and play. Tote bags are transformed into treasure chests of culturally-inspired projects and child-friendly art practice, giving space for openended play, storytelling and object making. In addition to supplies and printed instruction for 4 activities, each tote includes make-along virtual demonstrations with special guests.

Centre-Pieces totes are offered at no charge. Advance online registration required; limited quantities available. Totes will be available for curbside pick-up by prior arrangement. Maximum of 2 totes/family; intended for ages 4+.

We’re on the move! Classes, gallery exhibitions and performing arts are offered offsite, and in the virtual space. With the Town of Aurora’s cultural infrastructure project now underway, we’ve ‘taken the show on the road,’ and moved to our temporary quarters. The Centre’s Art Galleries, Educational Programs and Administrative Offices are currently located at Aurora Town Hall, 100 John West Way, Aurora, ON. Arts classes, workshops and performing arts events are presented at venues throughout Aurora, including the Aurora Armoury and Aurora Seniors Centre. Please see location information for each program as it is posted. *Please note that due to COVID-19 measures as of press time, all Town facilities including Town Hall remain closed, and staff continue to work offsite. Colour Me Sunny: Solstice Edition Let’s spark a creative glow as we celebrate the start of summer! This tote is filled with supplies to create mini solstice masterpieces, including a sketchbook to capture your imagination.
