Welcome to the Winter 2021 Program Guide

The 2021 Winter Program Guide is your source of information about community activities and programs such as swimming, fitness and recreation classes.

The current COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we offer classes during this winter term. In efforts to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Town facilities and staff will be following provincial guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our patrons.

Our staff has also found new, innovative ways to deliver special events while still providing memorable experiences for families. Check out aurora.ca/specialevents to see what community events are coming up!

You can still enjoy the outdoors! Discover the many parks and trails around Town. Our trail system spans over 62 kilometres encompassing more than 800 acres and are considered multi-use, with a primary focus on pedestrian hikers. Coming soon! The first phase of the David Tomlinson Nature Reserve is underway. Work includes trail construction, boardwalks, fencing and planting of trees and shrubs. The first phase of the park is scheduled to open by the end of 2020.
