A tension headache often manifests in the forehead. temples, or the back of the head and neck. These headaches frequently come and go and can often be tied to stress. These headaches can last minutes to hours and vary in intensity.
Migraines often cause pain on one side of the face/head and are accompanied by sensitivity to light and sound. The pain typically affects on e side of the head and is frequently associated with nausea. These headaches can last anywhere from 4 to 72 hours.
The most powerful and useful tool chiropractors have are adjustments. By checking the neck and ensuring joints are moving optimally, they can alleviate stiffness and muscle tension. In addition to muscle tension relief, chiropractic care also aids in posture correction, improved nerve function, and more. All of these factors contribute to providing relief.
