Warrior Stack goes virtual!

Dear Lebanon Community:

At this writing, our schools and community remain under a stay-at-home order from our Governor. This is certainly not how we planned the 4th quarter of school. However, I am very proud of our school district and our response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Pre-planning prior to the school closure has allowed us to quickly implement a system for remote learning and take care of our most vulnerable students. Our teachers are working as teams and departments to make sure that learning continues for our kids.

Through partnerships, donations, and organizations such as Joshua’s Place and the Lebanon Elks Lodge, we are providing tens of thousands of meals for our kids and families in need. Numerous people have volunteered to help.

In addition, we continue services for students with special needs and/or mental health needs. But we are not doing it alone. Students and parents are more involved with their schools and childrens’ education than we have ever seen.

It is amazing to see the “home education” that is happening across our district as parents and students are facing long stretches of time together during what would typically be school days. Keep it up! It is making a difference in how we will all come through this.

This time has been especially difficult for our 12th graders. We are working on plans to hold prom and a graduation ceremony, if possible, when our mass gathering restrictions are lifted, but we know they will not be the same experiences as in the past. Seniors without any outstanding fees will receive their diplomas on time so they can move forward with job applications, college applications, or any other use.

We know students will return to school. If not this school year, then next. And we will be ready for them. This community is very fortunate to have a dedicated and loyal staff of teachers, administrators, and support staff who place kids above all else. I thank all of them for their service during this time of crisis. I hope you join me.

Warrior Stack, a program for LHS athletes in grades 7-12, provides training for athletes of all sports, ages and experience, and includes physical workouts, self-talk and mindset, as well as personal growth and leadership.

The athletic department is now offering our athletes Warrior Stack@Home, a virtual extension of the program – complete with workouts alongside LHS coaches at NO CHARGE.

Joshua's Place needs our help!

Joshua's Place is running low on food donations. Needed Items:

Breakfast: Pop Tarts, NutriGrain bars, juice boxes, cereal, instant oatmeal

Lunch: fruit cups, applesauce cups, soup, individual mac & cheese cups, ramen noodles, peanut butter, jelly (no glass), canned meat, canned ravioli-type food, individual snack bags

Camps For Every Interest

We have camps for sports, aquatics, arts, gymnastics, cheerleading, outdoor adventures and so much more for preschoolers and kids in grades K-12.

Before & After Camp Care

Summer Adventure Camp Program

This affordable summertime childcare option is designed more like a daycare setting for school-age children. They will learn from guest speakers, take field trips, get outside, go swimming at the Y and have tons of fun!
