Days of Significance
There are many days of cultural and religious significance celebrated in Australia and around the world, with the Department of Home Affairs listing over 130 recognised days of significance occurring each year.

Local Governments are often asked to be part of these celebrations, which can be challenging as there are so many occurring each year that are important to our community. To be able to provide a sustainable program of support for days of significance, our priority for 2022−23 will be the following days:
