2015 Townsville Young Artist Awards and Annual Youth and Emerging Artist Exhibition

Townsville is home to a strong contingent of young and emerging artists, practicing in a variety of traditional and digital mediums. The annual exhibitions showcase works by a selection of these artists, with the 2015 Townsville Young Artist Awards offering prize categories for participants aged from pre-school - 18 years.

Each year, Gallery Services engages a leading Australian contemporary artist to undertake an intensive workshop for Townsville’s youth and emerging artists. The Annual Youth and Emerging Artist Exhibition features the works produced by the participants at these workshops.
