These ladies are making lovely hyacinths out of 98 percent recycled materials, including recycled wire, plastic rings from six-pack cans and reused foil from church flowers. They then spray-painted the flowers any color for a beautiful final touch. Sharlene Menard taught the class at the Middlefield Senior Center, and her husband generously lent a hand in preparing the materials.
