1.
Remove Bumper, CITROEN PICASSO: 2 fixings in each wheel arch, 9 fixings on lower edge, 1 tip bolt either side, pull white plastic slides towards wheel arch to release bumper tips. Pull bumper off clips and disconnect wiring looms on left hand side. Remove 2 other bolts each side of impact beam. PEUGEOT 308: Remove rear boot panel and side panels inside boot, remove lights, remove fixings inside each wheel arch, remove 1 tip bolt each side, 9 fixings on lower edge. Pull bumper off clips and disconnect wiring loom. Remove 3 outer bolts either side of the impact beam.

ALL VEHICLES: Loosely attach crossbar CB to the rear impact beam using set screws and washers WA.
3.
Remove any mastic from the sides of each chassis rail.
4.
Loosely attach side plate SP to the mounting studs on each chassis rail using nuts NT with washers WB.
5.
Loosely attach side arms SP to crossbar CB using set screws C.
6.
PEUGEOT 308 ONLY: Loosely attach mounting plates RP and LP to the rear panel using set screws B and washers WA.
7.
Attach mounting plates RP and LP to crossbar CB using set screws C.
8.
Tighten all fixings with a calibrated torque tool to specified torque settings on the towbar drawing.
9.
Remove the pre marked area inside the bumper.
10. Re-fit bumper Detachable Neck: Attach detachable neck D using set screws Z. Swan Neck: Attach swan neck S with CP10 plates (standard orientation) using set screws Y & bolts W. Flange Neck: Attach flange neck F using bolts A & type approved towball (not supplied) using set screws G. 13. Check and tighten all fasteners using a calibrated torque tool to the specified torque settings recommended on the towbar drawing.
