2016 is officially over, and we’re ready to talk about all of the great new toys that will line shelves in 2017. But—before we do that—we want to take a moment to celebrate the best toys of the past year.
The Toy Industry Association announced the nominees for its prestigious Toy Of The Year (TOTY) Awards, and we’ve got them all here for your review. Take a look at the ballot and then click to vote, direct from the pages of The Toy Book! Voting is open until Jan. 15. Five weighted ballots—one each for consumers (25 percent), mass and specialty retailers (40 percent combined), media (20 percent), and members of the Toy Industry Association (15 percent)—will be combined to determine the winners. Your vote counts, so take a minute to vote now! Winners will be announced at the TOTY Awards celebration on Feb. 17.
