Downlights Which lamp is right for me? We have 2 LED options to fit our downlights; a 36LED 2.5w and a 48LED 3w. These lamp options ensure an instant start and huge energy savings when compared to halogen lamps.

tp24 L1 downlights are 30, 60 & 90 minute fire rated, air sealing and sound proof. No fire hood required. All models using the spiral spot and LED lamp comply with current building regulations.

In CFL we have a quick start open spiral in 3000k.These lamps offer high light levels with an unprecedented instant start. We also offer covered CFL spots in both 3000k and a cooler, crisp 4000k.

Bathroom Lighting IP44 IEE Wiring Regulations (17th Edition) have identified certain zones within the bathroom to indicate which type of electrical equipment can be fitted. Lighting deemed suitable to go in these zones is given an Ingress Protection (IP) number, such as IPXY, where X and Y are numbers. The X shows the level of mechanical protection and the Y shows the level of moisture protection - in both cases, the higher the number, the better the protection. If a piece of equipment does not have an IP number it must not be used in zones 0, 1 or 2. The zones are as follows; Zone 0: Inside the bath tub or shower tray. Any fitting going in this area must be low voltage (12v max) and have an IP rating of at least IP67.

Zone 1: Directly above the bath tub or shower tray to a height of 2.25m from the floor. Products should be IP44 or higher and if the fitting is 240v a 30ma RCD must be used to protect the circuit. Zone 2: Over the bath tub or shower tray above zone 1. It also covers the area stretching 0.6m outside the perimeter of the bath and to a height of 2.25m from the floor and the area around the wash basin, within a 60cm radius of any tap. Lighting in this area should be at least IP44. Note:- if there is a likelihood of water jets being used in zones 1 or 2, i.e. for cleaning, a fitting rated a minimum IP65 must be used.

LED Lamps tp24 LED lamps last approximately 20,000 hours and are ultra energy saving - as much as 90% when compared to regular incandescent lamps. Using solid-state lighting technology (SSL) our LED lamps provide users with a lighting solution that is both long lasting and energy saving, making them perfect for every room in the house.

tp24 lamps are not dimmable. Traditional domestic dimming is very inefficient; dimming a fitting by 50% still uses 80% of the power and stresses the lamps.Turning off the lamps completely saves all the power and doesnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t harm lamp life at all. This is why we have incorporated â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;switchingâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; into many of our larger, multi-arm fittings. This means that sections of the light fitting can be turned off, giving full energy saving, variable mood settings and balanced light reduction. Fittings always come on fully lit and can then be switched down by up to four steps, depending on the product. No additional wiring is required and the switching is simply operated from the standard wall switch.

CFL Lamps With our growing portfolio of dedicated lamps we can offer a variety of options providing a sophisticated choice for luminaire design. Our CFL lamps offer up to 80% energy saving and have a very long life - 6000 hours and more. They have a minimum efficiency of 45 lm/w and comply with parts L1 and L2 of the building regulations. In fact all tp24 fittings and lamps

meet current building regulations and sustainable codes offering a one stop solution for all new builds and refurbishment projects. Normal halogen or incandescent light bulbs produce about 10-12 lumens of light for each watt of energy used. tp24 fluorescent light bulbs produce between 45-55 lumens per watt and our super low energy LED spot lamps produce

over 70 lumens per watt – this is serious energy saving. Our ‘Like for Like’ lamps are the smallest low energy retrofit bulbs on the market and use the latest technology. They also contain less plastic and a better light output.
