Linear fabrik The urban project of the revitalization of the former HoleĹĄovice Power Station creates a new city district that respects the history and its evolution of this part of HoleĹĄovice district and preserves it as an industrial fragment in the heart of Prague.

The concept of this urban project is based on the area of the Holešovice power plant and its surroundings. The urban grid is designed according to the fan-shaped shape of the Letná and Holešovice development and thus naturally complements this urbanistic structure. The size of the city block is based on the analysis of the surrounding Holešovická and Letenská buildings compared to the power plant building and is defined by several separate buildings.

The character of the place is also supported by the difference from the surrounding development due to organized chaos, which completes the industrial spirit of the place and the linearity, which is the main idea of the project. The district is divided into three parts according to the character and content of the buildings - office, polyfunctional and purely residential part, which is connected to the park Stromovka. Some buildings also exceed the boundaries of the territory railways - thus connecting the territory more closely with the surroundings. The project also included a proposal for the completion of the Bubny district, which is more traditional and is based on the surrounding buildings and a classic city block. The public transport network has also been newly designed and reorganized.

Research facility in HoleĹĄovice The Research facility in HoleĹĄovice is the most interesting building from the urban project Linear fabrik. Its levitating mass exceeds the limits of the area and enters the Vltava River. The entry platform also extends the square near HoleĹĄovice power station.

The Research Center building is one of the most explaining of the new character of the newly created urban district called Linear fabrik. The proposal exceeds the limits of the territory and shows its potential. The massive static mass crosses the dynamic body of the railwa, which induces tension. The building is designed to look aesthetically clean and pleasing for the user, while also being able to adapt to the floor plans during the lifetime of the building. It contains a large number of chills zones serving for the users as a place for relaxing and social interactions.

The entrance atrium is located on the fourth floor and is accessed from the platform above the railway. The atrium is fully openned over three floors and is crossed by horizontal footbridges with staircase. The furniture is made of simple organic shapes.

Conversion of Nuselsky brewery The Nuselsky brewery is quite unique, it is a strong character which resists to be consumed by the city as we know it. For this reason, it must be respected and kept without extensive changes, either physical or character. The main idea of this work is to preserve its properties even with an addition of new functions.

Interior spaces are divided into monofunctional and multifunctional spaces. Among the monofunctional were used for a certain type of brewery technology and can not be transformed without extensive intervention for another purpose - such spaces are for example malt kiln which is a vertically oriented space. west elevation

There are not many multifunctional spaces, but the main two are large - engine room, boiler room. The functional content of this part of the brewery is based on the urban design of the whole area - gallery, brewery, pub. Due to the required diversity of the exhibition space, the gallery is located in the western part of the building. The engine room is used as a main gallery and only a fragment of reinforced concrete skeleton remains, to support a footbridge. Next to the engine room is a staircase to the conference room, an art shop and a cafĂŠ from which it is visually connected to the brewery through the openings in the floor. It is also possible to enter the brewhouse thanks to a footbridge. The malt kilns are used for vertical installations. The brewhouse is visually connected to the gallery and the pub, so it is in the center of the action as it should be at the brewery.

Family house with cider mill Village Houska in which is the family house located is in the protected landscape area of Kokořínsko and it is necessary to approach it very sensitively. The house is built in accordance with local regulations, respect to the history and morphology of the place. At the same time, it complements the traditional form of architecture with modern elements of contemporary architecture.

The concept of the house is based on the conservation and use of the energy that was put into this place in the past and the minimum energy needed to build a new family house. For this reason, the fragment of the sandstone wall is incorporated into the building and used as a decorative element, but mainly as part of the load-bearing structure. The building is also oriented as it was with the previous building and respects the morphology of the terrain on this plot. The house is divided into two parts - barn with cider mill function and a part for living. The cider mill has the character of a barn with eccentric rail doors. Inside, at the height of the second floor, there is a closed study room that “crosses the barrier� - a sandstone wall - and connects the interior space of the house and the barn. To the right of the barn is a porch of stone pavement, which serves as the main exterior communication and connects all the important rooms of the first floor, terrace and greenhouse.

Antwerp problem Antwerp is a very old town with an interesting history and development. It is a significant city with a relatively complicated urban structure, which is caused by the evolution of the city over the centuries. These layers are intersected by the main tourist route, which does not correspond to its importance from the architectural and urban point of view, and it is necessary to improve it and to complete its urban structure among it.

The goal of the project was a sensitive addition of the city block while keeping the spirit of the place. The building is located at the place where the first city fortification originally stood. The scale of buildings and their arrangement is changing here. The designed apartment building is based on the tectonics of the city block in which it is located and thanks to its heigh level it is connected to the adjacent houses. My other projects In addition to my school projects, I am also working on in other projects. I create real proposals that are realized and develop my knowledge, skills and experience.

At the age of fifteen, I inherited a motorcycle that was made in 1949. Since then, in my free time I have been restoring it to its original condition. It is a way to learn new skills, crafts and history. Historical renovations require a great deal of historical research, patience and discretion.

One of my first realizations was the reconstruction of an apartment in an secession apartment building from 1914. The apartment was in the past several times “reconstructed” but not very well. It was necessary to identify the original historical elements and combine them with contemporary ones. The layout of the apartment was also improved.

From an early age I have been involved in plastic modeling. I used this experience throughout my studies. I use models as the best way to test my architectural and urban concepts. My first architectural work took place in ADC studio, where I participated in the creation of architectural models for various developers.
I also designed a kitchen for a student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He demanded a low coast kitchen of simple shapes to be used for occasional cooking. Modern compact kitchen designed in the artist’s studio in an secession apartment with traditional elements.

In 2018 I was invited to work on the design of a terraced house, interior design and garden. An elegant and modern interior was designed combining three materials with repeating details. The interior is connected to the terrace and small garden. The project is currently underway.
