Are you a heels or sneakers girl? Most definitely a heels girl. What’s better – arriving at a party underdressed or overdressed? Overdressed. You always have to leave people talking... You can’t do that when you’re underdressed. Big night out or big night in? Big night in. I’m always out because of my job. Guilty pleasure? Believe it or not, I’m a huge fan of reality shows, Nat Geo Wild and CSI programmes.
We caught up with Lerato Kganyago – TV presenter and host of Project Runway SA How did you feel when you heard you would be hosting Project Runway SA? I was overwhelmed and excited, but most importantly, grateful for the opportunity. Did the contestants’ talent exceed your expectations? I was blown away. I still can’t believe how much

undiscovered talent there is in our country. Tell us about your relationship with fashion. I live and breathe fashion. I haven’t always been vocal about it but I’ve always let my clothes do the talking. I love trying out new trends and creating my own. I’m also now exploring more local designers.
Favourite accessory? Sunglasses, although I sometimes lose them! Who are your style icons? Victoria Beckham and Rihanna What’s next after Project Runway SA? I take each day as it comes. When she decides to leave him the night before he is due to receive his Nobel Prize, the dark truth behind their marriage and life together slowly starts to unravel.

FNB Joburg Art Fair 6 – 9 September
One of the highlights on Johannesburg’s art calendar, the FNB Joburg Art Fair showcases some of the most impressive contemporary art from around South Africa and the African continent including sculpture, painting, prints and photography.
