Dear Friends and Cattlemen: On behalf of the Hinrichsen family, welcome to the R&L Angus Dispersion. The decision to have this sale was not an easy one for Ron and Lynne, but due to the factors detailed in their letter, a necessary one. This sale will mark the end of the first chapter of R&L Angus but is by no means the end of the Hinrichsen family’s involvement in the Angus breed. Cale and Eva have worked to build a small cow herd through the heifers that they have exhibited and will continue to grow their program. R&L is a family operation and will continue to be, with Ron and Lynne supporting not only the development of their children’s breeding program but also the exhibition of their show cattle and their involvement in the National Junior Angus Association and Kansas Junior Angus Association. Ron and Lynne also plan to continue their involvement throughout the Angus and beef industries. They are not going away, just refocusing their efforts in order to better enjoy family, friends and cattle. This sale offering is a culmination of 20 years of meticulous breeding decisions that emphasize all facets, phenotype, numerical quality and maternal strength. As is evident in this catalog, the Hinrichsens have identified a group of cow families that possess the traits they desire and have grown their herd through careful selection and embryo transplant. Cow families such as Georgina, Elga Erica, Everelda Entense, Blackcap, Varteny…all household names in the Angus breed, are present throughout the offering. This is a sound, functional set of real world cattle that are ready to do as good a job for you as they have for R&L. All of the available production ratios are included to help you identify the females that best fit your program. Herd Health Cattle will be accompanied by proper health certificates for immediate shipment.

Guarantee The cattle sell under Suggested Sale Terms and Conditions of the American Angus Association, available at www.angus.org.

Registration Certificates Animals will be transferred to the buyer at the seller’s expense. Each buyer must be sure to give the sale clerk the proper name and address for making transfers. All calves born before the sale are to be registered by the seller; proper breeding certificates will be signed by the seller for the buyer to use in registering calves born after the sale.
