When chatting to customers about the TAB App, Venue Mode, or betting on the World Cup, we ask that you please keep the below do’s and don’ts at top-ofmind to avoid inducing punters to place a bet or open a TAB account. Tell customers about the features of the TAB App
Help customers download and sign-up to the TAB App on their device
Facilitate access to gambling support services Advise customers that they can set a pre-commitment limit
Consult with customer service if a customer suggests they have a gambling problem Encourage gambling beyond ones means Serve or sign-up minors. If a customer looks under 25, ask to see their ID. Serve/sign-up intoxicated customers
Breach a customer’s privacy Breach state laws around inducements Tell a customer that you can offer them something for signing-up to a TAB account Offer customers betting vouchers for signing up to a TAB account
