CONTRACTS AWARDED
Another Red-Hot Month for Contractors Government agency awards for February, valued at $175,816,281, are the highest for that month in more than a decade. The total is bolstered by a $137 million job landed by Stanford Carr Development LLC for redevelopment of the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands property at 820 Isenberg St. It was the most lucrative February since the awards of $152,816,808 for that month in 2018. Last year, February brought in $73,256,682 in contracts. Following January’s record $1,072,379,035, the year’s total surges to $1,248,195,316. The second-largest contract of the month went to Stan’s Contracting Inc. for $8,988,700 in accessibility improve-
ments to the Panaewa Zoo and Panaewa Equestrian Center in South Hilo. Grace Pacific LLC won the next
biggest job of $8,691,666 for the Leeward Oahu bikeway from Philippine Sea Road to Waipahu Depot Street.
