CHARITY CHRISTMAS CARD DONATIONS Thank You! In addition to Traidcraft Exchange, for a long time we have also had strong partnerships with three other UK-based charities: Christian Aid, CAFOD and SCIAF. A percentage of our Christmas card sales is donated to these four charities every year; in 2020 alone, thanks to YOU, we donated over £50,000!

A huge shout out to Traidcraft’s Liam, Matt and Jo who completed Traidcraft Exchange’s 100-kilometre challenge last month. This is Traidcraft Exchange’s first ever virtual challenge! Their Camino de Santiago trekking team planned to embark upon a 100km walk along the storied Camino Frances route to Santiago de Compostela. Tree Planting:

AT HOME AND ABROAD

As part of their Regenerators Appeal, last month Traidcraft Exchange raised enough money to fund 400 acres of tree planting.

The trees will support poor communities in costal Tanzania whose livelihoods have been devastated by climate change to regenerate their land by planting fruit trees which will provide a sustainable livelihood for the future. If you missed the chance to contribute to the tree planting target, you can still have your donation doubled by the government until June 7th, as part of Traidcraft Exchange’s Regenerators Appeal… “ This is an initiative which gives us, as a business, the opportunity to add to our commitment to fight back against climate change while supporting producers. It’s also a great way to support our sister charity and get staff involved in something so positive coming out of lockdown. ” Traidcraft Plc’s Jude Allen
