(comScore 2012-2013) • Launched in September 2012. • In November 2012, as azcentral.com users got used to the new model and The Arizona republic readers activated their online registrations, the site traffic did decrease as expected. • In January 2013, azcentral.com traffic levels were at the prelaunch reach of 31.1%, matching the reach in July 2012 – and more than doubling the reach of the closest news site at 13.7%. • azcentral.com’s traffic/reach levels compete quite well with the local and national news sites. The only sites with more unique visitors and a higher reach are Yahoo! (with whom we have a partnership) and NBCNews.com.

January 2013) Launched on December 5, 2012, early stage input from users is very positive: • Overall satisfaction is at 77% or 4.04 out of 5.0 among 25-54 readers. • 79% of 25-54 readers say “AZ” is “easy/very easy to use/navigate.: • More than 8 in 10 readers are happy with the current content mix both in terms of national/local and light/newsy stories. • The visual features of ‘AZ’ (vivid colors, design, graphics, photos), convenience, fun/interactivity and local content are the most liked aspects among users. • The recall of the two ads tested was high; 58% and 54% of 25-54 ‘AZ’ readers said they noticed the Health and Furniture ads, respectively.
