BULGARIA Since Sunday 11th November, thousands of Christians have braved the rain, snow and cold to take to the streets of towns and cities across Bulgaria in a series of Sunday afternoon rallies for united prayer, speeches and peaceful protest.

his follows the Bulgarian government’s introduction of draft amendment to the Religious Denominations Act 2002, which directly threatens the essential freedoms of

Christians and local churches. The proposed legislative changes were first presented to the Bulgarian parliament on 4th October 2018 and are due to be considered again soon.
