Who doesn’t love breakfast with a view?
Stratford at the Harbor, nestled in the storefronts at the Harbor Village, offers eggs and bacon with a side of scenery. If the idea of an outdoor breaky with a mimosa or two gets you going, then this is the spot for you. If you haven’t visited Stratford at the Harbor in the past few months, then it may look a little different when you walk in. The only waterfront breakfast spot at the harbor open seven days a week went through a slight makeover.
“We got the remodel done around the end of February, so there’s more natural light, and more of an inside-outside concept. We hope to add an espresso machine in the future,” said general manager Ali Leese.
The once quant classic American breakfast spot has taken on a completely different look. They replaced the outdoor wall with sliding bi-fold doors, transforming the restaurant into an open-air eatery.
The now boho-beachy decor struts minimalist gold accents, decorative pastel hues, and a trendy floral accent wall. The biggest difference: Service is now done at the counter—not at the table. Everything else about Stratford at the Harbor is as classic as ever. Their menu boasts everyone’s favorites from eggs Benedict to a fluffy stack of buttermilk pancakes. But, the inside scoop says there are a couple options on the menu that just can’t be beat.
Berry Crunch French Toast Coffee Cake and Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
“Both the meat on the chilaquiles and corned beef hash are made in house, and I just think it’s ten times better that way,” Leese said. You read it right: the meat on the chilaquiles and corned beef hash are all prepared and seasoned in house from scratch. Another favorite for those who like a sweet treat is the Berry Crunch French Toast, smothered in sweet berries and dollops of whipped cream. Luckily for you late birds, breakfast isn’t the only meal served up here. The Cabo Club is stacked just as any sandwich should be with thick cuts of turkey, and a heaping side of perfectly golden fries. Word on the street is anything with fish is a big lunchtime seller. Try their mahi fish sandwich, mahi fish tacos, or fish and chips. No matter what you choose, you can’t go wrong. For those who like a boozy brunch, there’s plenty of mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, and margaritas to go around, plus a selection of beer on tap. And, for those who don’t—there’s fresh squeezed juice, and freshly brewed coffee always on deck. Visit Stratford at the Harbor in Harbor Village for breakfast and lunch every day until 2pm on the weekdays, 4pm on Saturdays, and 3pm on Sundays.
