PROFESSIONAL LINE
The Professional Line is a high performance line created for chefs, gourmets and gourmands. Precision is the main feature of this knife line, enabling the cutting of extremely thin slices required by the most elaborate recipes. For an enthusiastic chef a quality knife needs to have an elegant design and be perfectly balanced for better control. The polycarbonate and fiberglass handle is perfectly ergonomic, affording comfort and safety when cutting. Its forged blade ensures much higher resistance and longer durability. The trimming into a “V guarantees a precise cut and the best performance, even after the blade has been sharpened many times.
THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS
No less than 37 stages are involved in the manufacturing process of the Tramontina Professional Line. Starting with the design of the knives, which need to combine beauty and ergonomics, to result in what is a high performance knife with an accurate cut. Each one of the manufacturing stages are precisely controlled, from the selection of the raw-material to the last finishing touch. That is why each knife in the Tramontina Professional Line is a unique piece. The knife blade is forged into only one piece (monoblock), which guarantees more robustness and durability.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS After use, wash the knives carefully with warm water, soap or detergent and a soft sponge. Remove all residues from the blade and the handles. Avoid use of abrasive products and the use of steel wool sponges. Dry immediately with a soft cloth to prevent stains caused by any chlorine in the water and keep the stainless steel of the knives much brighter. Use the knives only to cut food. To protect the edge of the blade, always cut the food on a wooden or plastic board. Avoid cutting the food on top of the stainless steel sink and cutting frozen food as this may damage the edge. A specific knife has been created for cutting frozen food. Do not use the knives to cut bones. For bone cutting use the cleaver which is more resistant to impacts. These knives are dishwasher safe but be careful when placing the knives in the dishwasher so they do not hit other utensils as this may damage the edge and other goods. Dry them immediately after the cycle finishes because some chemicals from the detergent can cause small spots in the blades.
WARRANTY The Tramontina Professional knives have a lifetime warranty that covers all manufacturing defects which is applicable from the date of purchase when used under normal conditions.
